Sharm: Piratenzeilboot Ras Mohammed & White Island en lunch

Avoid it, mass tourism with more than 50 boats (we stopped counting after 50). The snorkeling was terrible; it's a shame because the scenery is beautiful and the pirate ship is nice, except the meal on board was very average. Additionally, be careful of the scam; they give you ice cream, come back 15 minutes later, and ask you to pay. Excursion too expensive for what it is.

Absolutely phenomenal!!! The best day out and experience I have EVER been on! If you are in Sharm, please book on this. The staff were just incredible! Like I have become accustomed to now in Egypt, thanks to Coral Reef Water Park Staff as well, the staff on ship made me and my kids feel safe and like family. You get 3 stops during your trip, 2x 45 mins plus coral reef swims and a trip to the white Island. On the White Island, they bury a treasure chest for the kids to find, filled with sweets and bracelets. The sea is crystal clear, warm, and the coral reef and fish were mindblowing to see. I really wish I could remember everyones names, but we had a diver that took me and my daughter over the coral...and he taught her to free dive (which she aced, where as I just ended up with flappy legs in the air). On the first dive, my son wanted to get out (and used the safety signal given to us at the start), the crews tried to help calm and encourage him to look, but he wasn't happy (he is 10 and not liking the snorkel). Crew took him back, which both my son and I knew we could trust the crew to do and him sit with them. They made him laugh so much when I got back on board he was laughing and cheering. The second reef dive, he braved wanting to try again, the crew were all cheering him on and he stayed in...he preferred not to breath through his snorkel and just used googles. The guide helping him along on a floating ring was pointing and joining in with my sons excitement at every fish he saw (there are thousands) 😂 We saw a HUGE moray eel, clown fish and ray on top of all the other incredibly coloured coral fish (who were completely un-bothered by us humans...because everyone is given strict rules on how to swim I suppose). Genuinely cannot praise this day trip enough!! The food was lovely (staff in Egypt like to make us all eat a lot 😂), drinks lovely. This was a group swim, but honestly felt like a private swim 😂 There are soo many guides in the water to help kiddies see everything on a ring, so absolutely noone is left behind or missed, the sea is soo salty you float easily, just an all round exceptional experience and another reason to fall in love with Egypt.

This was by far the worst trip I’ve ever experienced. Pickup was at 7:30 AM, yet the boat didn’t depart until 11:00 AM—hours of waiting with zero communication and not even basic water provided. Completely unacceptable. The crew were unprofessional and clearly didn’t care about guests. Service was nonexistent. The food was shockingly bad—inedible. No music, no atmosphere, no effort to create any kind of experience. Total failure on every level. Absolute waste of time and money. Do not book.

I am writing to say you what an amazing day we had today on the pirate boat trip, arranged through Get your Guide.  From hotel pick to drop off after trip, everything was so well organised.  The crew on board the pirate ship were amazing.  Myself, who has a fractured knee so struggle with walking, especially stairs, and my partner, who has a brain injury causing him to struggle with balance, were assisted so well, even to the point of being brought the inclusive drinks to our table, without even having to ask. The included food was amazingly tasteful, and plentiful, so again, well done to the chef.  Snorkeling stops, and visit to white island was unfortunately a no go for me,  but the crew did always try to encourage me, saying if I thought I could do both with help, they would assist. Although just staying onboard enjoying the views was fantastic. I would love to commend Modi,(hope I've spelt that correctly) and his team.  Please say a huge THANKS to them, for providing us with an amazing trip, one we'll never forget. I had a beautiful experience with Egypt sun Marin. Mohamed Salah, the diving instructor was so detailed, careful and very helpful. He instructed us on safety measures before we dived. Lunch on board was fantastic! Fresh food, especially the fish, 10/10. Overall experience was wonderful!

Ahoy there everyone what a great day out on the hi-seas collected from our reception at 7.40am. the correct pickup time and taken straight to the marina where we were met by a great guide named MIdo shref who then took us to the pirate ship, it looked really nice and really stood out from the others boarding was easy across a proper sided plank no fear of falling in even for those with limited mobility. The crew were friendly and helpful as you would expect, they explained the itinerary to us, before departure there were plenty of seats everywhere and also some beds on the lowest deck. There was drinks available throughout the entire cruise with even a waiter coming around every so often asking you what you wanted, this is particularly helpful if you don't have great sea legs like many I see on board. When stopped for snorkeling there was a proper set of steps that folded down to the sea making in very easy getting in & out of the water none of then little bars that hurt you feet getting out so so much better. The guide got in the water with a ring that he used to pull groups of people around seeing all the wonderful corals and fish. Also other staff kept an eye on you for safety and checked all accounted for all the time. Half way through we entered the air conditioned cabin for food, this was absolutely great the chef done an amazing job and made sure everyone enjoyed and was full. It was easily as good as our 5 star hotel. Then off again to white island beautiful tranquil location, great photo opportunity. After some more sunbathing another stop for snorkeling. Near a beach this was very calm water making it all the more enjoyable. Once back at the harbor we were met quickly by our transport back to our hotel with air con running for us in all a brilliant day out with extremely attentive staff definitely worth doing, and value for money. Suitable for all ages. My only disappointment was the photographer seemed afraid of the water but loved the air conditioned cabin so we got no pictures unlike the one last week with you who was great in & out of the water. But that is the only bad thing I would say

Booked this trip last minute And can say it was worth it We were picked up At 0900hrs from our hotel and taken to the marina where after some paperwork boarded our boat the PIRATE Overall the trip was very good First stop was snokerling then a stop to the white sands Followed by lunch which was very good and then another snokerling The staff were very good Great service The only negative point is after the ride we had to wait 45 minutes for our journey home
