Serengeti vanuit de lucht Elke vlucht is een andere reis gedicteerd door de richting van de wind, waar de beelden en geluiden stijgen uit de grond om u te ontmoeten. We weten waar we begonnen zijn, maar we weten niet waar we naar de Aarde zullen terugkeren. Dit hoort bij het avontuur. Soms zal de mand zachtjes de toppen van het gras borstelen en dan klimmen, door de luchtlagen klimmen tot je hoog genoeg bent om de curve van de horizon te zien, goud en roze geschilderd door de vroege zon.Onze piloten hebben niet alleen jarenlange ervaring met het benutten van de Afrikaanse wind, maar zijn ook vertolkers van het wilde leven in de eb en vloed van het landschap eronder. Ongeveer een uur nadat je de lucht in bent getild, zal de mand terugkeren naar de vlaktes van de Serengeti.

Your day will start before the sunrises but you will not worry about any of that within a few hours. The crew will pick you up at your lodge. You will experience a “night” game drive in those early morning hours. It will be amazing. Then you will arrive at the launch site. That in itself will be amazing and exciting as they ready the balloons for launch. The sun will rise and you will be in awe. Once you receive your briefing and load up it will be up, up and away. You will not believe your eyes taking in the landscape and wildlife from above. We could hear the trumpeting of the elephants below. Upon landing you will not believe it is over. No worries you will be toasting champagne in the bush. But the second game drive begins from this point to another rally point out in the bush the team set up for breakfast. The food will be fresh and delicious. The pilots will present your certificates and offer some merch for sale if you wish to indulge. The third game drive will begin as the guides either return you to the rest of your group or lodge.

My first ever hot air balloon experience. The weather was fantastic with a beautiful sunrise while going up. Felt very safe with our pilot Frank. He has lots of experience and did a fantastic job. We were able to spot numerous animals; never seen so many hippos in a pool! It’s not cheap but so worth the money. Champagne after landing and a delicious fresh breakfast. Unforgettable experience!
