Gyeongbokgung was het eerste en grootste van de koninklijke paleizen gebouwd tijdens de Joseon Dynastie. Hoor verhalen over de geschiedenis van Seoul en word de hoofdpersoon in Gyeongbokgung Palace, de thuisbasis van 500 jaar geschiedenis van de Joseon Dynastie. (Elke dinsdag wordt de tour vervangen door een bezoek aan het Deoksugung Paleis)
Bukchon verwijst naar de hogere wijk Cheonggyecheon en Jongno tijdens de Joseon-dynastie. Hanoks staan aan weerszijden van het steegje op een heuvel opgesteld, waardoor een rustig en antiek landschap ontstaat dat doet denken aan het verleden van Seoul.
De Gwangjang-markt was de eerste permanente markt in Korea en blijft tot op de dag van vandaag een populaire toeristenbestemming. De naam Gwangjang betekent ‘van ver verzamelen en geheel bewaren.

Our guide was Rick Yoon. We had a 4hr tour of Seoul and it was perfect. He was detailed, took us to all the hidden spots and was very mindful about what we wanted to see. He kept my teenager son very engaged throughout the tour. He was helpful with helping getting cash out of the ATM as it was all in Korean, very patient gentleman. He even sent us the pics he took of us during the tour and took the time to send his fav restaurants in the area. I highly recommend Rick. He truly is passionate about what he does, loves meeting new people which tells you a lot about him. He has great energy and fun personality. I highly recommend him for custom tour.

We loved every minute of this tour! Sheen was a fantastic guide—so friendly and packed with great insider knowledge. Everything was perfectly organized, smooth, and highly comfortable. Definitely worth it and 100% recommended!
Cristian our guide was open, kind and friendly. He was smiling and you can see that he enjoyed being our guide. Even though english was the primary language he knew we spoke spanish and vwry kindly tried to use his spanish too. He gave us directions to some other atractions we wanted to visit the day after. Excellent tour, really informative around the Gyeongbokgung Palace where we were right on time for the 10:00 ceremony, the Bukchon Hanok Village where Sheen took us via a less busy track and finally the fantastic Gwangjang Market where one could stay for hours. Throughout he took some great photos of us too. Highly recommend.

Highly recommend this tour. We had so much fun on this activity. Sheen was very knowledgeable and shared interesting background on the sites we visited. The food tour was a nice break in the middle, go hungry it’s a lot! We loved visiting the temple at night to see it all lit up.
