Incheon Chinatown werd gevormd toen Chinese immigranten zich verzamelden rond de Chinese tempel (Qing-dynastie), gebouwd in 1884, na de opening van de haven van Incheon in 1883.
Bezoek Jaryu Park, dat in Korea werd gebouwd als het eerste park in moderne stijl, en bekijk de historische plek die de geschiedenis veranderde tijdens de Koreaanse oorlog. In de lente en zomer zie je veel mooie bloemen.
Berijd de Wolmido-zeetrein voor een rondleiding door Wolmido. Stap uit bij Culture Street om de Incheon Grand Bridge, de caféstraat, te verkennen en amusementsfaciliteiten te bezoeken. Vanaf de Sea Train kunt u genieten van prachtige uitzichten op de oceaan en parken.
Het is het eerste park in Korea waar zeewater stroomt. In het park wordt zeewater realtime gezuiverd om zeewater van klasse 1-kwaliteit aan te zuigen. Deze enorme hoeveelheid zeewater stroomt in een kanaal in het midden van het park, variërend van 30 tot 100 meter breed, dat door Central Park stroomt, met een zoetwatervolume tot 90.000 ton en een kanaallengte van 1,8 km, waardoor het een omvang heeft dat zou niet vreemd zijn om een rivier te noemen. Op 4 km van Central Park ligt een zeewaterzuiveringsinstallatie waar zeewater wordt opgevangen, gefilterd en gezuiverd via een proces in drie fasen, inclusief UV-desinfectie, voordat het aan het parkkanaal wordt geleverd. Hierdoor blijft de waterkwaliteit van dit zeewater altijd op niveau 1. In dit zeewater leven verschillende zeedieren zoals forel, bot, krabben en modderkruiper.

This tour was incredible! We had a 12 hour 45 minute layover, and were dreading being in the airport for so long. We spent the majority of our time on this tour. We saw so much, learned so much, and had amazing Korean cuisine. Since we’re traveling internationally, I was worried that the tour would be fast paced and very active. That was not the case. It was very chill and relaxing. Just what we needed. Highly recommend!!!

I thought we would learn about Seoul and Korea. Instead we went shopping at an outlet mall, to a peer that resembles every peer in America and to Chinatown and to a Chinese Ramen museum??? Guide said we didn’t have enough time for Seoul tour so had to do the Incheon tour, which was a waste of a day.

Considering the travel distance and limited layover time, I recommended an Incheon tour rather than Seoul. Traveling between Incheon International Airport and Seoul takes more than three hours round trip, and traffic conditions can sometimes make the journey even longer. However, I understand that you wished to see Seoul, and I am sorry that I was not able to include even a short visit to the city during your layover. I sincerely hope you will have another opportunity to visit Korea in the future. I had such a great time on this tour! Charlie was my guide for the day and he did not disappoint! The booking experience was seamless and I got a WhatsApp communication right after to confirm my interests and arrange for pickup from the airport. I was able to visit Gyeongbokgung Palace, the National Folk Museum of Korea, Insadong, Bukchon Hanok Village, and Hongje Falls and also squeeze in some great shopping. Charlie was very knowledgeable and taught me a lot about the history and culture of the country. I enjoyed and felt comfortable during my experience and got some great photographic evidence to show for it. I highly recommend it!

Our day in Seoul with Charlie was the perfect way to spend our twelve hour layover. Charlie picked us up at the airport, showed us the highlights of Seoul, helped us find shops to purchase the K-Beauty items that were on our shopping list, selected a fantastic restaurant for lunch and drove us back to the airport. I travelled solo to Thailand and devised an 11 hour layover on the trip home so I could spend a day in Seoul. Alice, the owner, communicated with me in advance, answered all my questions, and her pick up instructions were clear and easy to follow. She packed in a satisfying number of destinations during our time without making me feel rushed. She was very informative and gave me a real flavor of Seoul.
