Jonathan was a great host and very knowledgeable about Korean baseball. As a fan of American baseball, this was a fun and very entertaining experience. The chanting and crowd vibe was worth doing this again. The walk to the restaurant was not too far but would have preferred meeting there instead of station exit because it was a bit of backtracking. Overall, a great experience!
Alex is a nice guy, and the Korean fried chicken was great, but we had very little interaction with Alex. He told us a few things at the restaurant, walked us to the stadium, gave us our tickets, and we didn't see him again. We thought we we would get some information about the game, cheers, etc.
very good experience going to my first ever baseball game. from the meeting point to the end jin was very helpful and informative. i would reccommend anyone going to their first baseball game to give this tour a go. you wont regret it, its a vibe.
It was terrific experience, Alex was a great guide; the pre-game chicken and beer was fantastic, I got to meet some fabulous travellers, we sat in the vistors side of the game. Very enjoyable experience.
Few experiences in Seoul combine food, culture, and nonstop crowd energy quite like a Korean baseball game. From the moment the chants begin to the final out, the Korean Baseball Experience offers a uniquely Korean atmosphere that feels more like a festival than a sporting event … and it quickly became one of the highlights of my trip. If you’re visiting Seoul, I highly recommend the Korean Baseball Experience! Communication was excellent before, during, and after the event. Thomas was easy-going, patient, and happy to answer all of our questions. I was traveling solo and found it very easy to join the group and feel included. There were other solo travelers as well as couples, families, and larger groups, creating a fun and welcoming atmosphere. There were about 40 people in our group overall. The experience started with dinner at a restaurant just a short walk from the stadium. We enjoyed three delicious Korean fried chicken options, plus a drink of our choice, all included in the tour price. We attended an LG Twins game, and they won! Depending on the day you go, you’ll see either the LG Twins or the Doosan Bears. Our package also included a drink at the stadium, and there was plenty of time before the game to browse merchandise and souvenirs. On the day we attended, there was a pop-up vendor outside the stadium called Satur, which had some of the best souvenir options I found. Even if you’re not a huge sports fan, this experience is absolutely worth it. The energy inside the stadium is incredible, with nonstop singing, chanting, dancing, and crowd participation throughout the game. It felt like much more than a sporting event—it was a cultural experience. If you’ve never been to a Korean baseball game, definitely add this to your Seoul itinerary. It’s a fun, authentic way to experience Korean culture and one of the highlights of my trip.
A great experience. We really wanted to see a baseball game, and it's difficult to get tickets on your own without a Korean phone number. Thomas got great seats for all of the tour attendees, meet-up was easy, and we had a nice lunch prior to the game. Thomas is a great guide and we had a memorable day.
Had a great evening with Thomas, the Korean BBQ food was plentiful and much better than expected when booking an ‘experience’. Short walk then to the stadium, good seats and an added bonus of being a retro shirt give away night. Doosan Bears were victorious so the crowd were in very fine dancing and signing mode. Much better neutrals experience than going to an American match
Amazing experience and Jin was so great for putting this together. Always in communication with the group as changes happened and was super kind. Will do this again.
I was booked in for the Saturday 3pm tour, however, due to an unexpected change of times (11:30am), I was unable to attend as I was booked for another tour that could not be refunded. While I don’t doubt the tour would have been incredible, my problem is with the Viator team/ Thomas. I have contacted them multiple times if it were possible to change my dates, as I still wanted to enjoy a day of baseball. Not only have I not heard a response, there has been no mention a possible refund and at this point it just seems like they are avoiding the issue all together. Just something I want to highlight, as conflict resolution is clearly something that is lacking within this company and you could potentially lose your money. Extremely disappointing.
Alex was a great host … he gave us lots of information about Korean baseball and showed us a great time. He organized a.great pre-game dinner which was a great ice-breaker that allowed all these tour attendees to get to know each other.
