Al bijna 35 jaar produceert Chateau LaFayette Reneau op het landgoed geteelde vinifera-wijnen. Hun landgoed van 110 hectare biedt optimale blootstelling aan de zon en luchtstroom voor consistent aromatische witte wijnen en rijke, volle rode wijnen. Ze zijn de thuisbasis van drie veelgeprezen Governor's Cup Awards en vijf Jefferson Cups, naast ontelbare andere prijzen en gouden medailles. Hun toewijding aan kwaliteit en integriteit in de druiventeelt en wijnbereiding resulteert in de beste Finger Lakes-wijnen.
Bij Toast Winery zetten ze zich in om premium kwaliteitswijnen te maken die het unieke terroir van de Finger Lakes en de regio New York weerspiegelen waarmee we gezegend zijn. Gelegen aan de westkant van Seneca Lake, verwijst hun naam naar de traditie van het roosteren van wijnvaten die het karakter en de smaken versterken die aan wijn worden gegeven tijdens het rijpingsproces. Het staat ook voor hun nooit eindigende reis om uitzonderlijke wijn te produceren en hun klanten te vieren.
Het wijnhuis werd in 1985 opgericht door Jerry en Elaine Hazlitt. Wat begon als een hobby en plezierig tijdverdrijf, veranderde in Jerry die een van de best verkochte wijnen in de staat New York maakte, Red Cat. Nu is de 7e generatie begonnen zich bij de Hazlitt-bemanning aan te sluiten, met dezelfde passie en doorzettingsvermogen die generaties voor hen dreven. De volgende generatie kijkt ernaar uit om de erfenis van familie, vriendschap en fantastische wijnen waar Hazlitt bekend om staat voort te zetten.
De wijnen van Tabora worden voor 100% op het landgoed verbouwd, geoogst en geproduceerd van meer dan 200 hectare wijnstokken. Hun huidige wijnportfolio richt zich op inheemse en hybride variëteiten en is recentelijk uitgebreid met vinifera-aanplant. Hun wijnmaker richt zich op minimale interventie, terwijl ze nog steeds ongerepte en traditionele wijnbereidingspraktijken behouden om schone, frisse en geconcentreerde wijnen te benadrukken die zeker een verscheidenheid aan smaakpapillen zullen plezieren. What better way to celebrate a milestone anniversary than with a delightful Finger Lakes wine tour. Our Crush host and driver, Ron, was friendly and knowledgeable. We toured four area wineries and enjoyed a lunch overlooking Seneca Lake and the vineyards. Highly recommended!

Deb our driver did a great job. It was a fun experience. OUr suggestions is that the lunch stop take place after visiting two wineries and then complete the tasting at the final two wineries. Lunch was good, but amount paid to the tour operator for lunch was way to high. Paid $76 for lunch that only cost $22.

This was such a fun day in the finger lakes. Our driver, Deb, was friendly, knowledgable and very safe on the road. We got to spend plenty of time at each winery and taste some great regional wine. It was also very easy to book and to meet up w Deb at the appointed time & location!

Crush Beer and Tours gave my sister and I a very nice experience up at Seneca Lake yesterday as we went on the Seneca Lake South Wine Tasting Tour! Our driver, Jim, was very kind , patient, attentive, and very friendly . He had water and snacks available for us as he drove us to four different wineries and was very knowledgable about this area as he filled us in with interesting facts pertaining to the area's history. This was ridiculously overpriced. We have four tastings, which should’ve been total of around $80 and a sandwich for lunch. The driver was great, but the price was totally ridiculous.! I feel like I got ripped off.
