Deze tour is ontworpen om uw Toscaanse wijnproefdromen waar te maken. U zult alle klassieke ansichtkaart-perfecte landschappen van Toscane kunnen zien terwijl u van de ene kelder naar de andere reist. U bezoekt twee wijnhuizen en krijgt de kans om een selectie van hoogwaardige Toscaanse Chianti-wijnen te proeven. Lunch is inbegrepen. Als u een liefhebber bent van goede wijn, uitstekend eten en landschapsfotografie, dan zult u deze tour geweldig vinden. En u krijgt ook de kans om een van de mooiste dorpen ter wereld te bezoeken: San Gimignano, beroemd om zijn majestueuze torens en heerlijke ijs. Onze tours bevatten alleen zwarte, van airconditioning voorziene Mercedes-busjes, compleet met airconditioning, wifi en één onbeperkte wifi met een hotspot op zakformaat voor elk stel en één fles water voor elk tourlid en natuurlijk een fles witte proseccowijn voor een happy hour aan het einde van de tour!

We starten vanaf het ophaalpunt 8:00 uur en rijden dan 15 minuten richting Piazzale Michelangelo. Piazzale Michelangelo biedt een prachtig panoramisch uitzicht over Florence, waar je de stad in al haar glorie kunt bewonderen. Op het grote plein staat een replica van Michelangelo's David in brons.
Om 8:30 rijden we voor 01:00 uur richting San Gimignano. Vervolgens bezoeken we de prachtige ommuurde stad San Gimignano, vol geschiedenis en charme, beroemd om zijn imposante torens en heerlijk ijs. Deze tour zal uw smaakpapillen zeker bekoren. De beschikbare tijd daar zal 01:25 uur zijn.
Om 10:55 rijden we in 50 minuten naar een typisch Toscaanse boerderij in de Chianti-streek. We reizen naar het hart van het Toscaanse wijnland en bezoeken een prachtige boerderij met een kelder. Hier zullen we genieten van een heerlijke Toscaanse lunch met geweldige regionale gerechten en enkele van de meeste wijnen van Italië. Dit is een perfecte gelegenheid om te ontspannen en te genieten van het adembenemende uitzicht op het Toscaanse platteland. De beschikbare tijd daar zal 02:30 uur zijn.
Om 14:30 uur rijden we 25 minuten richting San Michele a Torri, waar we een laatste stop maken op een door een familie gerund wijnlandgoed in de provincie Florence, waar je de kans krijgt om andere geweldige Chianti-wijnen te proberen. Want je kunt niet zeggen dat je Chianti kent als je niet minstens 5 of 6 verschillende soorten wijn uit de streek hebt geproefd. De beschikbare tijd daar zal 45 minuten zijn.
Om 15:50 uur terugrijden voor 40 minuten, richting het eerste ophaalpunt. Daar zullen we om 16.30 uur aankomen. Ruim op tijd om nog meer plezier te hebben tijdens je Florentijnse middag.

Ophaallocaties en -tijden
Wij bieden gratis pick-up bij hotels, niet Airbnb noch appartementen, die zijn gelegen in het GEBIED A van de verkeersbeperkte zone. Als uw hotel zich buiten dat gebied bevindt of in de categorie Appartementen/Airbnb valt, kunt u ervoor kiezen om gratis opgehaald te worden voor HOTEL BOCCACCIO (Via della Scala 59) om 8:00 uur of voor HOTEL DAVANZATI (Via Porta Rossa 5) om 7:50 uur. Als alternatief kunnen we u ophalen en afzetten bij uw hotel tegen een extra vergoeding die rechtstreeks aan de chauffeur moet worden betaald. Vraag offerte aan. Zorg er wel voor dat je 15 minuten voor de geplande vertrektijd aanwezig bent bij het ophaalpunt.

My fiancée and I had an amazing time at the San Gimingnano and Chianti region tour. Our tour guide and driver, Marco, was very knowledgeable about the history of the region and provided great information throughout the entirety of the trip. He really brought the experience to life for us. Marco is very friendly and a great person and was a large part of why the experience was so memorable. As for the wine tasting tours, both vineyards had excellent tours with knowledgeable and friendly guides. The selection of wines provided were excellent to try the regional wines of Chianti. Overall, this was an experience we will never forget and highly encourage anyone to book for your trip to the Tuscany region!
David was our tour guide and was excellent! We got lucky and were the only people on our tour that day, so we got a private tour around Tuscany for a great bargain. Even if you aren’t the only ones, the van is plenty big, has great air conditioning, and the places you go are very exciting! San Grimignano was very nice for the history buffs and the rest of the trip was centered around Tuscan wine and cuisine, both of which are excellent!

We loved this tour. We had enough time in San Gimignano to stroll around and shop and didn’t feel rushed. The lunch was amazing with several courses and the wineries had fabulous Chianti wine. You will probably want to ship some home kind of good! This tour is worth the price and the small group made it better.
This was a lovely tour! Our guide was David, who was an absolute joy to ride along with and to learn from. The two wineries were perfect - excellent wine tastings paired with a delicious lunch and selection of Tuscan meats & cheeses. The San Gimignano portion of the trip was not for us as it is really just a place to shop. But if you want to do some shopping, there are a large variety of cute shops and you’d likely enjoy it. Either way that is just a short piece of the tour. Highly recommend both this tour and specifically David!
We thoroughly enjoyed the wine tour. The vineyards were knowledgeable and fun! Marco was our driver, he was very nice and made the trip even more enjoyable.

We had an amazing time! Claudius was our amazing guide four different days! We saw Cinque Terra, Pisa, Lucca, Greve, II Molino Di Grace Winery, another winery, San Giomano, and Florence. At the end of our ten days we spent four with Claudius and he was a part of our family. Truly appreciate all he did! We have been back in the states for a few days and we still chat and reminisce about our days in Italy. He made us feel special - like celebrities! Love him for that.
