We lived the guide it was great !!
They are the best the tour was just perfect and the tour guide was amazing! We simply loved her! Whiskey was the best!!!!!
Andrade was an extraordinary guide. She has a real enthusiasm for her subject and that enthusiasm is infectious. I have visited the Colosseum three or four times and never learned half as much about the building, it history and engineering, and broader Roman history as she taught us in two hours of enthralling discussion. My 17 and 13 year old sons were equally engaged. The quick trip through the Palatine Hill was excellent as well. Real value for money - I highly recommend it.

Livia was a fantastic tour guide. So much great information and it was so special to go out on the arena floor.
We picked this tour because we had been to the Colosseum before but not to the main arena level and wanted the experience of walking through the gladiator gates. But we also had a young teenager with us who has a low attention span for history, especially blood sports, so this ended up being the perfect tour for our group! Serena got us in quickly and efficiently through the chaotic entrance and security lines, hit the highlights quickly while still giving us time to take pictures. She shared quirky facts with us (like the urine tax!), and had iPad visuals for what the decor would have looked like in its heyday, a little bit of history, and stories about the gladiators. Plus at the end, since part of our group was continuing on for the Forum tour, we were able to tag along to go through the express security/check in lines with Serena to enter the Forum quickly (admission is included in the Colosseum ticket to be used within 24 hours of the Colosseum reservation) and then part ways to explore on our own. We really appreciated that time savings! It was easy to find the check in. They hads lot of tours going at the same time and were well organized and it made for a great start to our Italian tour. Would highly recommend LivTours and Serena!
We were so blessed to have Marta as our tour guide. Marta was exceptional- she is very knowledgeable and passionate about Roman history. During the tour, Marta was very patient, she took time to explain and wait for us to interpret the information to our moms as they don’t know English. I’ve been on many tours, and Marta is the best one so far. We truly had a great time.
