Het gebied PORTO ANTICO is het grote toeristische en ontmoetingspunt van de stad. Volledig voetgangers is perfect om snel en veilig te leren rijden op de Segway, op slechts een steenworp afstand van de zee.
De excursie begint met de aanblik van Palazzo S. Giorgio, de eerste bank van Europa en een plaats van groot historisch belang.

We bewonderen het grootse, weelderige en elegante Palazzo Ducale, was de residentie van de Genuese heren en de zetel van de macht van de stad, en het is ook gelegen in het hart van het historische centrum, Piazza Matteotti.
De kathedraal van Genua, de belangrijkste kerk in het historische centrum, met zijn kostbare knikkers en zijn adembenemende architectuur, zal ons doen opklimmen naar de hemel om alles te kunnen zien.

We are family of 5 and 3 of us have never ride on a Segway before, Joseph the instructor was super patience with each of us and allow time for us to train before heading to old town. He was professional, knowledgeable and super friendly. Joseph is a great trainer for Segway plus a very good tourguide. We got the best of both World. Thank you, Joseph! We will be back!

It 'was a fun way to discover Genoa, the guide is nice and professional, wandering with the segways makes a bit 'boys back, if you have time I recommend the 2.5-hour tour, with the one hour you almost mind getting off at the end, even if it is still long enough to appreciate the experience.

Matt was delightful, informed, kind and created such a fun experience for my mother and I. He shared so much history and personal experience along the way. He took his time to teach us first time segwayers and was super encouraging. We got to experience so much of Genova and were able to go back to places using the paths he laid out for us. Honestly such a unique and effective way to tour a city. And if you are the people who tend to do a hop on hop off tour then use it as a way to later further explore certain sites, skip it and do a Segway tour instead because you get a much more personal experience and get up close and personal with the sites. Please take the opportunity with Matt, you will love it!
A discovery of Genoa like no other... by Segway with Mattia! What an amazing experience! For the first time in Segway, we could not have dreamed better. From the very beginning, our guide Mattia – or “Matt” for the intimates – put us at ease with his humor, his kindness and above all... his patience. In just five minutes, we were ready to roam the alleys of Genoa with confidence and a smile on our face. The ride took place safely, away from traffic, through places full of history. It was like a leap into the past... but on a machine of the future! An original and fun way to discover the city, its secrets and hidden treasures.
