VERTREKTIJD :: 9.00 uur : 30 uur Begin aan een boeiende avondontsnapping naar Segovia, een middeleeuws juweeltje en UNESCO-werelderfgoed. Vanuit Madrid brengt een comfortabele busreis u naar deze betoverende stad voor een rondleiding door het historische centrum.
AANKOMST IN SEGOVIA : 10 : 45 uur ongeveer Het avontuur begint bij het ontzagwekkende Romeinse Aquaduct, een technisch meesterwerk dat al bijna twee millennia staat. Terwijl u door de smalle straatjes van de oude Joodse wijk wandelt, komt u het unieke Huis van de Pieken en de Romaanse kerk van San Martin tegen, die elk verhalen vertellen over een rijk multicultureel verleden
OPTIONEEL : Wandel door de geplaveide straatjes in het historische centrum, die leiden naar het levendige Plaza Mayor, het kloppende hart van het Segovische leven. Hier zult u zich vergapen aan de buitenkant van de majestueuze gotische kathedraal (optioneel), de laatste in zijn soort gebouwd in Spanje.
De tour eindigt met een uitzicht op het Alcázar, een fort dat ooit dienst deed als koninklijke residentie en nu het stedelijke landschap domineert. Day tour to Segovia and Avila from Madrid. This was a wonderful way to see too of Spain's classic sites in a day out of Madrid. I was pleasantly surprised that the giant bus was not full. Our guide, Pilar, was extremely knowledgeable, delightfully casual and I greatly admired her fluency switching back and forth between Spanish and English.

This was such a lovely day trip, the journey was pleasant and there was a little history along the way. Segovia is stunning, the tour guide gave clear instructions both in Spanish and English. There were plenty of photo opportunities and also free time to explore. The stop at Avila seemed short but I felt like we toured the best part. It would have been nice to have a little more time and information here. Otherwise highly recommended!!

An easy way to see two great cities without having to worry about anything yourself. The 9 hours went faster than we thought. The bus left and arrived exactly on time. There was enough time to see the essential sights and have some free time.

Overall a good experience tour guide ( Maria ) could have been better she didn’t seem to interact with her party very much and wasnt very approachable or explain things very well. I would recommend that people do not book the tour with tickets included, we only spent 10 minutes on the wall in Ávila as she took us to the smallest part of the walk. So don’t think you are going to be able to walk the whole wall approximately 2 miles as there is not enough time allowed to do so on this particular trip.

The tour is totally recommended. It left on time, a very comfortable bus, a very friendly guide who narrated all the historical details very well. We did not take the package with food included; however, considering the prices on site, the value is completely reasonable.
