Je reis begint op een verborgen juweeltje in Imerovigli – onze geheime plek – waar je wordt getrakteerd op een zeldzaam dubbel panoramisch uitzicht op zowel de oostelijke als westelijke kant van het eiland. De sereniteit en adembenemende schoonheid van deze locatie zijn echt voorbij woorden, het aanbieden van een rustige start van uw verkenning.
Dompel jezelf vervolgens onder in het erfgoed van Santorini met een bezoek aan een charmant lokaal distilleerderijmuseum. Stap terug in de tijd terwijl je een levendige weergave ervaart van het dagelijks leven in het verleden. Ontdek de kunst van traditionele distillatie en proef een verscheidenheid aan authentieke lokale sterke dranken, waaronder ouzo, tsikoudia en klassieke likeuren.
Uw avontuur gaat verder naar het traditionele dorp Emporio, genesteld in het zuidelijke hart van het eiland. Dwaal door de smalle, kronkelende steegjes die naar het oude kasteel leiden en het gevoel oproepen door een levend doolhof te lopen – een plek waar de tijd lijkt stil te staan.

Our private “Secrets” tour with our guide Xenofon (Fon) far-exceeded our expectations. He took us off the beaten path to hidden gems in Santorini that we would have never seen and even added to our stops to see places that weren’t on the tour. The food at the restaurant was fantastic (tomato fritters and eggplant were our favorites) and the service was great. We had a few personal modifications due to dietary restrictions and mobility issues and Fon went above and beyond to make everything work perfectly. The secret sunset viewing was the highlight— the photos don’t do it justice. Thank you, Fon!

Mike was a great guide. He has some great insights about the island and was fun to travel with. The highlights for us were exploring the labyrinthian Emporeios and eating incredible seafood from The Dolphins Restaurant.

Fotis was an excellent guide, and this tour was amazing. It is for anyone who is looking to get away from the crowds and explore parts of Santorini that are also beautiful and more traditional. It requires a lot of walking, but is well worth it! I am so thankful for Fotis.. he really went above and beyond, tailoring the tour to our needs. He personalized everything and made sure we were comfortable at dinner too - he picked a great spot and the food was delicious. Fotis was the best tour guide! From the beginning he was very open to answering any and all of our questions. We got see parts of the island we otherwise wouldn’t have. It was wonderful. He took us to a winery called the Art Space which truly was a magical experience.

Fotios took me on this wonderful trip over the island. I got the chance to see many local villages and other great Santorini spots that most tourist don’t’ know of. Besides the sunrise tour of Fotios, which I also highly recommend, this tour made me see a lot of the Southern part of the island. We rounded off with a lovely dinner at the waterside.
