Duiken in Boracay: SSI Basic Diver voor beginners

We went as a family where the kids did an introduction dive. Good guidance in excellent English, plenty of time and patience with a joke and a grol. Seen 2 turtles and some small fish. In terms of marine life it was quiet, but all the more time for practice with the instructions. The kids want to get their license here!

As someone who isn’t naturally confident in the water, I was a little nervous about trying scuba diving for the first time, but it turned out to be an incredible experience. The session started with a clear demonstration and training in 1.5 metres of water, where I learned about the equipment and important sea safety skills. Everything was explained in a calm, easy-to-understand way, which really helped build my confidence. We then progressed to a dive of up to 5 metres, and I felt completely supported throughout. Dominic was patient, kind, and very attentive to any difficulties I might have been experiencing. He stayed by my side the entire session, which made all the difference. Not once did I feel like I wanted to leave out of fear, knowing he was right there with me. It was great fun, and I’m already looking forward to doing it again!

My basic diving experience was a fantastic sensation. It was a bit scary at first, but once you get to dive into the underwater world, all your fears turn into delight. Because of DiveGurus Boracay, all my basic diving needs, particularly my inquiries, well-being, understanding of the fundamentals of diving, and the accommodation were top-notch.

Brian (our instructor) was amazing. He prepares you well, he is calm, and funny. We had a really great. The diving place is also a hotel and a beach front one. So you get a full package. Loved it and would highly recommend.

Amazing experience! Had a beginner dive. Was nervous at first but staff Darwin (my dive master) made me feel relaxed and very safe. Can't recommend SSI enough. Staff recognize your limitations and allow you to dive safely. 5 star!!!

It was an awesome experience for a novice diver. The staff was very helpful and kind, they were constantly checking on us and showing us all the aquatic life we could see around us.
