Was supposed to start at 8am - we were at the requested meeting place, no one ever showed up at 9am - another company at the site took pity on us and called the company.. we were told to go across the street to wait, and then it took another hour for them to arrive (we are now 2 hours late) it then took 5 minutes to arrive at someone's personal home (in a sketchy neighborhood) where we waited as they pumped up tires and tried to start the scooters. Then we found out one of the riders couldn't ride the scooter, so 2 people went on one scooter.. I have ridden motorcycles for 40 years- and I am aware of Bahamas riding (and have ridden in the Bahamas before) - But Nassau is a very hard area to ride in, people almost hit us several times, centerlines and stop signs/lights are only suggestions to them. And honking is a way of life for them - I know this is not the renter's problem.. But I thought to say something about it. We ended up only using the service for 3 hours, and returned to the house, and had to wait an hour before anyone came home - They said they would text us so we had their number, but they never did. They never offered to return any of our money, for not being on time and inconveniencing us, or not even using one of the scooters.. Overall, I would rate them a 1 of 5, and would not use the service again.
It’s really disappointing that Wayde that you’re absolutely dishonest with your review. You said during your rental pick up that you accidentally booked too many scooters. A refund was provided to you even though Refund Policy stated that you were not entitled to any Refund. My store location is 5mins outside the city of Nassau where many other local businesses are located. As hospitality assured expert we pride ourselves on being able to provide exceptional customer experiences which all of my other clients have echoed. Your fear with riding a scooter in Nassau is resonant with your lack of confidence with riding. May I suggest you continue practicing how to ride before attempting another adventure like this. If you’re looking for a scooter/AV rental look no further! Rose and Trevor were the most kindest and knowledgeable people I have ever met! They gave us ideas of where to go, they recommended local restaurants to eat and the best parts of the beaches. When I come back to the Bahamas they’re the only ones I will ever call and book a tour or rental again.
