Con artists. They took our booking and our money about a month before our trip to visit Schindler's factory. We had booked for a time in the mid afternoon knowing that we had to get through the airport, taxi to the hotel and then later we had booked a meal at a restaurant. Literally the day beforehand, our booking (2.50pm) was cancelled and we were offered 1.20pm (which would be extremely tight with the airport) or 5.45pm which would conflict with our evening meal. I said neither was convenient so what were our options. No reply. I reluctantly said we would take 1.20pm and would try to rush there to make it work because they gave us no options. When it became obvious we wouldn't be able to make it because of delays at the airport, we contacted them to ask for a rearranged time/date - their response? No, because we agreed to 1.20pm (which we did only because our booking was cancelled without our ageement). I asked for a refund. Answer - get lost. Eventually I persuaded them to give me 50% back leaving me hugely out of pocket. Save yourself hassle and having to deal with con artists and book direct with the venue and get a cab to ensure you control your entry time. Avoid this company at all costs
MUST VISIT!!!! I visited this museum on the 24th March and I took my time reading every artefact/article and I learnt so much more than I have done ever. You read and see things which will shock you further. I would recommend going here before visiting the auschwitz because you get more of an eye opener of what happened to the Jews. You will also read saying they have written in their personal experience. I would also recommend skip the line ticket and self guided as you will have all the time to read everything and there is a lot to absorb. Tours seem to be rushed from what I saw. It’s very organised inside and not busy so you can take your time. Highly recommend also visiting “Ghetto Heroes Square” 9 min walk from the museum. You will learn all about this from the museum itself.
Very detailed and personal exhibition, incredible amount of material, really highly recommended!
A good Allround experience although I though there could have been more information on Schindler himself….perhaps and introduction To his life.
Buy direct from the museum - there was absolutely no need to "skip the line" and use this company who charged more than double the price of the ticket direct from the museum itself. Perhaps in the busier months it might be more difficult to get tickets but on a Friday in November I feel conned
I was disappointed I expected to see the factory and not a wandering of rooms showing and tracing the life of email at that time
Skip the que is worth getting to avoid the long line of people the displays are very well presented and there is no rush
Easy booking, used ticket with ease, good price and always good communication from Viator , would recommend
Having seen the movie to actually visit the factory and location makes it so much more emotional. Just around the curved too are the hero’s chairs. Each chair represents 10,000 Jews that were killed. I have nothing but admiration for Israel! Stand strong 💪🏻🙏
Once we'd accessed the correct tickets we were in. Bear in mind (as I kept forgetting) that the indoor scenes for Schindlers List were filmed in a studio ! The exhibition upstairs is about life under the German Occupation in Krakow. Harrowing as expected but interesting to hear in the cinema from people who actually worked there. Would be good if they opened more of it up to get the factory experience ? * had a very nice late Lunch in restaurant opposite !
