Schilderachtige tocht naar Velebit bergen, grotten en rivieren in Zadar gebied
Beschrijving
Laat me je meenemen op een spannende daguitstap waarbij je ook een aantal bezienswaardigheden bezoekt, waarbij we bergen, grotten en rivieren in de omgeving van Zadar bezoeken. Onze nadruk zal liggen op het door UNESCO beschermde Velebit-gebergte, het mooiste van Kroatië, dat fantastische landschappen en uitzichten biedt. Eerst bezoeken we aantrekkelijke uitkijkpunten op de Maslenica-brug en de rivier de Zrmanja. Daarna steken we het Velebit-gebergte over via de historische Master's Road en passeren we onder de schilderachtige kalkstenen kliffen van Tulove Grede, waar we een 1,30 uur durende gemakkelijke en schilderachtige wandeling met een prachtig uitzicht zullen maken. Van daaruit gaan we verder over het Velebit-gebergte en dalen we af langs de zwaar beboste noordkant naar de bergachtige Lika-regio en bezoeken we de prachtige Cerovačke Špilje (Cerovac-grotten) (toegang tot beide grotten is € 15 of € 18 in het midden van het zomerseizoen). Na het bezoek aan de grot steken we Velebit opnieuw over en dalen af naar de rivier de Zrmanja voor een verfrissende duik in het kristalheldere water (zomerseizoen).

Aleksander took us on a special hike tailored for us since it was just 2 of us. He was chatty, nice, funny, and we had a lovely day. Then he helped us find a auto repair shop to fix our brakes. He called them directly and set it up for us. He went above and beyond and we highly recommend booking with him.
Alexander was a great and enthusiastic guide. He not only brought us to as many hidden places as we interested in, he also gave us the historical and scientific context for the locations we visited. It’s a great trip, I can imagine how much fun it would be to swim in the Summer.
Great tour❣️ Alexander picked us up on time at our hotel for our personal day of touring for the two of us. Alexander gave us options for the tour according to our interest…we chose hiking in the Velebit Range, the lower cave, and the river. He shared his passion and knowledge of geography, topography, Croatia, weather, and history of these areas. It was such a personal day of interaction, sharing, and exploring. It was these reasons why we thought this was our favorite tour out of eight tours we have taken this trip of both Italy and Croatia! Did I mention we are 70 years old?
Nice day trip that offers different scenic landscape and other sides of Croatia. Mountain in October looks simply awesome. Guide is passionate with hiking and can share many other local stories. Happy to have opted for this tour.
Our guide, Aleksandar, was very knowledgeable. The stops that we made were beautiful. The guide stopped at several scenic places for us to take beautiful photos. Climbing up the mountain trails, he went at our pace. We were able to stop and take photos and ask questions along the route. The trip to the caves was just over an hour and on the way we stopped at a natural spring and filled up our waterbottles. The caves were located on the hill above the parking lot, so it was a little hike up the hill to get to the entrances, but well worth the additional hike. We enjoyed the cool temperatures in the caves and the beautiful formations that the caves had in them. The river was beautiful. It has several small waterfalls in it and was breathtaking! Wonderful experience!! Highly recommended!!
