Neem een pauze van het wijnproeven en ontmoet elkaar in St. Helena voor een begeleide e-bike tour langs de Napa Valley Vine Trail (autovrij fietspad). Uw tourgroep wordt geleid door een lokale, deskundige Tour Gids. De tour beslaat 16 mijl (van St. Helena naar Calistoga en terug) met pauzes onderweg om het uitzicht te bewonderen, foto's te maken en meer te weten te komen over de geschiedenis van Napa. De route is meestal vlak tot licht glooiend. En vergeet niet : je hebt drie niveaus van E-Bike trapondersteuning binnen handbereik! Bij het bereiken van Calistoga, het middenpunt van de tour, heb je een uur vrije tijd om de stad te verkennen of op eigen gelegenheid te lunchen. Of, als u verder wilt fietsen, kan uw Tour Gids u meenemen op een optionele ritverlenging langs een schilderachtige landweg, waarbij tot 8 mijl (24 mijl totaal voor de dag) wordt toegevoegd. Kinderen van 12 jaar en ouder zijn van harte welkom om met een begeleidende volwassene mee te gaan.

Geen bezoek aan Napa Valley is compleet zonder een stop bij het iconische bord "Welkom in Napa Valley". Uw tourgroep zal hier pauzeren om foto's te maken en te genieten van het uitzicht op de wijngaarden.
Een deel van de fietsroute gaat door Bothe-Napa State Park, de thuisbasis van de verste kustsequoia's in het binnenland.
Geniet van een uur vrije tijd om de stad Calistoga op eigen gelegenheid te verkennen. Wandel en verken de winkels langs de hoofdstraat of pak lunch of koffie. Of laat uw Tour Gids weten of u wilt blijven rijden en zij kunnen u meenemen op een optionele verlenging van maximaal 8 mijl. Na een uur komt de groep weer bijeen voor de fietstocht terug naar Charles Krug.

The description on Viator states you travel down a no car allowed road. That is not true. You are on a paved walking/ bike path along the main road. You can save yourself the money and just walk on The paved path through the vineyards. . My tour guide mark gave us NO opportunities to take photos. He made it clear he was an avid bicyclist and runner and he treated this tour as if we were biking in a race to Calistoga. He only talked to and gave attention to one person in the group and he never looked back to check on the rest of us. Worst tour guide I have ever experienced with Viator.

For the benefit of future guests, we'd like to clarify that this tour follows the Napa Valley Vine Trail—a dedicated paved bike and pedestrian path that is separated from vehicle traffic. Fifteen private landowners cooperated with easements to allow for the construction of this path through private vineyards. We're sorry to hear you felt the pace was too fast and that you didn't have enough opportunities for photos. Our guides are instructed to ride at a comfortable pace for the group, regularly check on guests, and make multiple stops along the route for scenic viewpoints, photos, and local interpretation. While experiences and expectations can vary, what you described is not the standard experience we strive to provide. We are two seniors who have never ridden an e-bike before. But we had a very enjoyable 4 hours touring the wine country. Michelle was our guide and was very patient in teaching us, as well as quite knowledgeable. It was actually very easy, and we caught on quickly. The electric assist was great when we came to the hills. We loved being out in nature on a beautiful day, hearing the birds sing, and not having to be concerned about traffic since we were on a private trail. Michele took our picture at various photo stops, including the iconic Napa Valley sign. We had a delightful lunch in the quaint town of Calistoga. We'd highly recommend this tour.

We had such a good time riding e-bike on Napa Vine Trail! E-biking was so easy, I felt like I was in my teens again ;-) Our guide, Don was super nice. We would do this again when we visit Napa next.

Wow! This was an amazing way to explore Napa as a Family.The electric bikes were easy to ride as we enjoyed the valley scenery and went through the wineries . Our guide Don was professional and patient. I am just 4’11” and he was able to find a bike that worked with my height. We visited the charming town of Calistoga to take a break. It was a perfect day .

Mark was great. Gave us an I formative ride from Charles Krug to Calistoga and we got to run around Calistoga for about 1 1/2. Well worth the investment. Biking trail was great and we had a great time. Thanks!
My husband and I did the half day wine trail e-bike tour 2 days ago and we enjoyed it immensely!! If you’re undecided, just do it. You’ll be so glad you did. I was a bit anxious as I’ve never been on an e-bike before and it was absolutely fine. Our guide Don was fabulous!! He was very knowledgeable of the area and super friendly and accommodating. The scenery along the trail is beautiful and it makes the ride so worth it. At the end of our ride we had a delicious picnic and did some wine tasting at Charles Krug winery. It was the perfect end to a great afternoon!
