De tour vertrekt vanaf de terminal van de haven van Messina, de chauffeur zal u ophalen bij de gate van uw schip. In 45 minuten bereiken we Savoca, Bekend om zijn fascinerende historische centrum, de heuvelachtige ligging biedt adembenemend uitzicht op de zee en de omliggende bergen. Savoca is ook bekend om de set van enkele scènes uit de film "The Padrino" Onder de bezienswaardigheden zijn de kerk van San Nicolò en de beroemde Bar Vitelli, waar het personage van Michael Corleone de hand van Apollonia vroeg. Na een stop van ongeveer 1 uur vertrekken we naar Taormina, waar u 2 uur in volledige vrijheid kunt blijven om een van de mooiste en karakteristieke steden van Sicilië te bezoeken. Terug naar Messina zullen we stoppen om het heiligdom van Christus Koning en de kathedraal te bezoeken, beroemd om zijn belplaat die de grootste en meest complexe mechanische en astronomische klok ter wereld bevat. Aan het einde van de tour begeleiden we je naar de poort van je Schip.

Gabriele and Giuseppe were our Guide and driver. They drove us around all day in a very nice air conditioned van with our main stop in Taormina. Stops along the way included the very charming town of Savoca where the godfather was filmed. Gabriele was awesome and told us a lot of great information about the area! Highly recommend this duo for your one day tour of Messina and Taormina!

We did the private tour-the Godfather tour, sights andToramina. The Godfather tour was great and seeing the exact location and bar. Our guide Francesco was playing the movie parts exactly where you are walking and same scenes…Francesco was amazing!! We have booked a lot of private tours and this is one of the Best Ever!!!
