Dit gebied is het culturele centrum van de stad, met het Savannah Theatre en de site van de beroemde parkbank uit Forrest Gump.
Dit is de "zuidelijke bocht" van de route, met de iconische witte fontein en de grote herenhuizen uit het Victoriaanse tijdperk die de omtrek van het park begrenzen.
Passeer Monterey Square. Dit gebied is beroemd om zijn weelderige bladerdak en de verbinding met het boek Middernacht in de tuin van goed en kwaad.
Als u doorsnijdt richting Abercorn Street, bereikt u de mooiste torenspits van de stad. De Franse gotische architectuur vormt hier een dramatisch contrast met de omliggende woningen in koloniale stijl.
Richting de noordelijke rand van de wijk (bij Reynolds Square) zie je de oudste staande bouwwerken. Het Pink House en het Planters pension tonen de bakstenen en stucwerk charme van de late jaren 1700.
Bevat zeldzaam ijzerwerk en bakstenen passages met meerdere verdiepingen die de katoenhandelsgeschiedenis van Savannah weerspiegelen. Biedt een uitkijkpunt dat zowel de historische pakhuizen als de moderne
Uitzicht op de Savannah rivier. Je ziet de gouden koepel van Savannah City en kijkt neer op de historische kasseien waar ooit katoen "factoren" werden verhandeld.
Het laatste stuk neemt je mee door het levendige 4-bloks buiten winkelcentrum van City Market. Vanaf hier is het een korte, directe rit terug naar het Visitor Center

For starters, the van did NOT look like that. It was white and older. Some of use thought we were going to be on a colorful bus while others thought they would be on a golf cart looking vehicle. It should be noted that the form of transportation may change based on numbers. The tour guide was very nice and funny, but he needed a microphone. For the cost, I would expect better. I used my Viator points, so my out-of-pocket cost was very low.

This was a great experience for us as the tour made everything in the city meaningful. The admission fee is fair and the tour gave us good value for our money. The length of the tour was good at 1 hour 45 mins which gave us ample time to visit many historical and important parts of the city. Our tour guide Mike was excellent. The atmosphere was excellent and we were not over crowded in the bus . However there is need for a clear description and easy location of the pick up zone, the only frustrating part of our tour.

Very informational and quite a bit of comedic relief. We really enjoyed our tour! We couldn’t go up close to the stadium but the full time was filled and we learned a lot!
