Je Jeep Safari begint met een korte rit naar Lekursi Castle, een van de beste panoramische uitzichtpunten in Saranda. Gebouwd in 1537 tijdens de Ottomaanse periode, steekt het kasteel hoog boven de stad uit en speelde ooit een belangrijke defensieve rol in de regio. Tegenwoordig biedt het een adembenemend uitzicht over Saranda, Ksamil, de Ionische Zee en Corfu, waardoor het een perfecte fotostop en een essentieel hoogtepunt van de tour is.
Bezoek het beroemde Blauwe Oog, een van Albaniës meest indrukwekkende natuurlijke attracties. Na een korte treinrit (optioneel) bereikt u de kristalheldere bron waar krachtige onderwaterstromingen de rivier de Bistricë voeden. Toegang tot het terrein is inbegrepen; Optioneel treinvervoer is beschikbaar op het terrein en apart betaald. (Entree inbegrepen – treinvervoer niet inbegrepen.)
De reis gaat verder naar een prachtig panoramisch uitzichtpunt, waar u de frisse lucht kunt insnuiven, ongelooflijke foto's kunt maken en uw eerste kennismaking met de geschiedenis van het gebied kunt krijgen van uw Gids.
Vanaf hier gaat het avontuur over schilderachtige wegen en lichte offroad-paden door olijfgaarden en ongerepte landschappen van de Albanese Rivièra, naar Secret Beach - een verborgen en minder drukke plek die alleen toegankelijk is voor offroadvoertuigen. Geniet van vrije tijd om te ontspannen, zwemmen in het kristalheldere Ionische water of gewoon ontspannen in de natuur.
Stop in Bunec, een rustig dorpje omgeven door olijfbomen en berglandschap. Hier heeft u de mogelijkheid om te genieten van een optionele zelfgemaakte lunch die wordt gehost door een lokale Albanese familie, met eenvoudige en authentieke gerechten op basis van lokale ingrediënten. Lunch is optioneel en kost €15, rechtstreeks te betalen aan de familie.
Trek door het platteland voordat u begint aan een leuk off-road gedeelte, wat een avontuurlijk tintje aan de reis geeft.
De laatste stop is het klooster van Sint Nicolaas in Mesopotam, een van de belangrijkste culturele monumenten in Zuid-Albanië, waar oude muren lagen geschiedenis uit verschillende periodes weerspiegelen.
In de late namiddag keert u terug naar Saranda met drop-off bij uw hotel of accommodatie.

Perfect day in Albania….. such a good way to see all the hidden sites. Great lunch, historical info and Pilaf was an added surprise (hopefully you all get the hang out with this great dog for the day!)

We made this trip with jeep saranda agency located near the seafront and is run by two Italians. It was very nice we were 4 plus the little Maltese spank 4 years (was very good and almost all the time in the carrier) for added security. Our very good driver but also the others. We stopped to eat in a nice place with panoramic terrace The trip includes several stops including blue eye and a beautiful beach and the castle ... The only stop we will take away from the village is maybe instead an even fast stop in Borsh which is wonderful shame is not in the tour. Anyway, we had fun!

I can't say more than day at the top. I recommend 100% this activity. From beginning to end we had a wonderful day. We were able to discover many landscapes and places in one day. the lunch restaurant is delicious. A Driver and a Guide at the Top To do with friends or family 😊

Good experienced driver who managed to conquer the beautiful off-road very controlled. It was a beautiful day trip with very nice views. But the food was not as idyllic as is outlined, it was just tasty traditional food in a restaurant run by an Albanian family. The swimming was very nice and in a beautiful place. Blue eye was very beautiful. We did come home covered in dust satisfied but also exhausted. Spent a lot longer in the jeep than I thought.
The tour was amazing! Albania is so welcoming and coming from America we didn’t expect to love Albania so much. The staff was so kind and picked/drop off at the perfect location. My favorite part was probably the off road jeep experience which was a lot of fun! We all stayed together in a large group with 6 jeeps total. The Albanian family style lunch was very good and it was all homemade. We passed by and stopped at multiple places where it is important to go see. It is a very long day but it’s filled with a lot of fun! When I come back I will be doing this tour again!
