Binnen 24 uur na boeking ontvangt u een korte vragenlijst om uw voorkeuren te delen. Op basis van uw antwoorden matchen we u met een gelijkgestemde local die rechtstreeks contact met u opneemt om uw reisschema samen te stellen. Dit is een wandeltocht. Uw gastheer zal u ontmoeten in uw geselecteerde hotel, en de tour begint te voet. Als u liever op een centrale locatie wilt vergaderen, kies dan voor de optie ontmoetingspunt. Als uw hotel niet in de lijst staat, selecteert u gewoon de centrale bezienswaardigheidsoptie. Dit is een privé wandelervaring. Zodra je geboekt hebt, nemen onze Experience Planners contact met je op om het ontmoetingspunt te bevestigen en je te helpen met eventuele laatste details om een soepele en plezierige start van je persoonlijke tour te garanderen. GEEN prive-voertuig is inbegrepen. Voor langere afstanden kan uw gastheer voorstellen om het openbaar vervoer te gebruiken. Eventuele transportkosten kunnen op de dag zelf verrekend worden.

We loved our walking tour with Toru. He was friendly, helpful and attentive. He answered all our questions and made sure the tour was exactly what we were looking for. We all left knowing a lot more about Sapporo and Japan.

Our guide was a kind person so I hate to write this review, but it is what it is. He was just a random guy. I feel like he lives in the area and thought, sure, I’ll be a guide to make some money.” He had no plan. He had no books or printed information. He took us to the Sapporo brewery but the museum was closed (he said he didn’t know it was closed - he obviously didn’t check). He didn’t seem overly knowledgeable in the area or Japanese culture, or at least he was not eager to share knowledge if he had it. His English was passable, but barely so. I could have read a few Wikipedia articles and learned more than he shared in the FIVE hours we spent with him, even with my prompting. I wouldn’t recommend this guide or service. They’re just a broker who connects you to a random person who signed up to be a “guide”. It was an incredibly poor use of money. I am disappointed.

Had a wonder time with Shiunn, she showed me everything from the history of Sapporo to the hidden gems. She showed me great food, beautiful gardens and unforgettable places. Not only that but she also gave me some great advice on how to navigate and how I should be dining. Shes very knowledgeable, very kind and even let me take my time to really take in certain spots. We had a wonderful tailored walking tour with Shiunn who has an obvious passion for Sapporo and was quick to pick up on our interests. We had a lovely spontaneous tea ceremony at a tea shop which she proposed when she heard it was my husbands birthday and that he loved tea. A fabulous way to see the city when first arriving.

We had a great tour of Sapporo with our guide. She showed us some of the more well-known areas of the city, as well as the history of the indigenous community in this area. She was very knowledgeable! Our lunch spot (soup curry) was fantastic, and she knew food spots to satisfy all our hopes for the trip.
