Ontdek de historische wijntraditie van Santorini tijdens deze rondleiding langs de meest geliefde wijnhuizen van het eiland en één brouwerij. Leer meer over de vulkanische bodem van het eiland, wat bijdraagt aan de lokale wijnbouw. Proef 12 verschillende wijnen en 3 lokale bieren gecombineerd met lokale kazen en Griekse delicatessen. Begin bij de plaatselijke Santorini Brewing Company en proef drie verschillende bieren. Ga verder naar het wijnhuis (Art Space) in het pittoreske dorpje Exo Gonia, uitgeroepen tot beste wijnhuis van Griekenland. Bezoek de ondergrondse kelders voordat u naar het Argyros Estate gaat. Het Argyros Estate biedt een moderne esthetiek en houdt tegelijkertijd vast aan traditionele methoden van wijnproductie, zoals het gebruik van muilezels om de velden te ploegen en druivenbijproducten om de bodem te verrijken. De wijnmaker van Avantis Estate, de heer Apostolos Mountrichas, werd verliefd op Santorini en de sterke persoonlijkheid van Assyrtiko en startte zijn Santorini-project in 2012. Hij voltooide zijn project in 2021 door Anhydrous Winery op te richten. Zijn filosofie is gebaseerd op experimenten met oude wijnbereidingstechnieken die moderne wijnen produceren met zuiverheid en primaire raskenmerken.

The wine guide was very knowledgeable about the history of the island and made the overall experience worth every dollar. All of the wineries were beautiful and the people were amazing! Definitely put this on your itinerary.

Amazing Santorini Wine Tour! This wine tasting tour was a highlight of our trip thus far! We visited stunning wineries, learned about Santorini’s unique wine culture, and tasted some incredible local wines. The views, the stories, and the flavors were all unforgettable. Our guide, Billy, was fantastic—knowledgeable, fun, and made the whole day even more enjoyable. Highly recommend!
Hailey and I got married in Santorini this past week. We decided to book a private wine tour to learn more about the way wine is made and the different types of wine. Billy was our driver. Billy made our experience so fun that we never wanted it to end. Ever winery was so inviting and professional. We would 10/10 recommend this experience.

The tour was very informative, we tasted a wide selection of wines and beers and some tasty snacks throughout. We were also really lucky that the other two couples on the tour were also on their honeymoon so it was a really lovely afternoon/ evening.
