Oia heeft een mystieke geur die kunstenaars van over de hele wereld aantrekt. Er zijn zoveel kunstgalerijen en andere plaatsen van cultureel belang die u kunt bezoeken, zodat u zich nooit zult vervelen. Maak foto's van de witgekalkte huizen en loop door de kronkelende straatjes. Je hebt ook wat vrije tijd om souvenirs te kopen of een aantal van de beste lokale delicatessen van het eiland te proeven.
Met prachtige uitzichten, in het dorp Pyrgos vindt u kerken uit de 11e eeuw, evenals een Venetiaans kasteel.
Het klooster werd gebouwd in 1711, op het hoogste punt van het eiland, 567 m boven de zeespiegel. Het opvallende uitzicht op het hele eiland is echt geweldig. Mis niet de kans om de dessertwijn, honing en extra vergine olijfolie te proeven die alleen door de monniken ter plaatse is gemaakt.
Het majestueuze rode strand, een van de meest pittoreske stranden van het eiland. Het uitzicht op de rode, bijna verticale, vulkanische rotsen en de kleine, roodachtige kiezelstenen is adembenemend.
Perissa met het buitengewone 7 km lange zwarte vulkanische zandstrand is onze volgende stop. Het bestaan van de vulkaan op het eiland is duidelijk met het donkere zand op het strand. We zijn er zeker van dat je alles wat je wilt van dit strand zult vinden, van kristalhelder water tot geweldige mogelijkheden voor waterplezier
Onze tour zou een bezoek aan een traditionele wijnboerderij niet verbieden, zodat u de kans krijgt om sensationele wijnen van enkele van de oudste wijngaarden in Europa te proeven. Probeer de beroemde variëteiten van Santorini-wijnen zoals Assyrtiko, Nychteri en Vinsanto.

Geef gerust de naam van uw hotel of villa door als deze er niet tussen staat. U kunt ook uw ophaalpunt instellen. Als u met een cruiseschip komt, ontschept u zich in de oude haven waar u de kabelbaan moet nemen om uw gids aan het bovenste uiteinde van de kabelbaan te ontmoeten.

We had a wonderful day in Santorini with Angelo. He was professional, friendly and took us everywhere we wanted to go. He suggested a perfect local place for lunch and then continued the tour. We highly recommend him!!

This private day trip is worth every penny that we paid. Alex, our guide patiently waited for us because we had to take the tender from our cruise ship and the line was long at the cable car. We were able to see what we wanted to see within the short period we were in Santorini. Our guide was very knowledgeable with the history of Santorini. I would recommend this to anybody who only has a few hours to spend in Santorini.

Our guide, Angelo, was fantastic. We hit the sites and he also took us to a few “off the beaten track” places (literally!). He was knowledgeable, friendly, and good with the kids. We enjoyed our day thoroughly. One word of caution to anyone coming in on a cruise: if there are multiple ships tendering, the line for the cable car is outrageous (was 2.5 hours our morning). This company communicated well and waited for us, even though we ended up 90 minutes late.

This was a fantastic experience. We were only in Santorini for the day from a cruise ship. We wanted to maximize our time and see as much as possible. Chrysa and Angeles were the best. The took us to the best photo locations and some places that were off the beaten path we would have been known about. Bonus... we learned a lot about the island and Greek culture. We had a wonderful day with Jessica and Funni (believe that was our drivers name). Jessica was incredibly knowledgeable of the area and talked of the history of Santorini as we toured. I feel like we covered a lot of area in a short amount of time. She had great spots for photos along the way and was our personal photographer. Our day ended with a wonderful dinner at a restaurant on Black Beach. She joined us for dinner and helped us ordering food which we greatly appreciated. It was a great day. Ask for Jessica!

Incredible tour of Santorini with Jessica and John! Jessica is full of energy and warmth. She had a whole day planned out, but was willing to deviate to see anything that wasn't on her list that we wanted to see. Based upon our research and areas mentioned by our hotel, we covered it all. We were allowed to spend as much or as little time as we wanted in each place where we stopped. We never felt rushed -we are big picture takers. Jessica was very knowledgeable and could answer all our questions as well as giving us significant knowledge of the island and the sites. They were happy to go for wine tasting if we wanted, but we opted for drinks and appetizers at the Black Beach. They are very accommodating. We highly recommend!
John and Jessica showed all the highlights in just over three hours. We had some extra time in the morning before our ferry and wanted to see some of the villages and Fira before we left. They came through with just a phone call the night before. Very professional and informative.
