Belangrijke cruise-info Trefpunt : Voor cruisepassagiers is de standaard opstapplaats de Oude Haven — waar de tender van uw schip u afzet. Een bemanningslid ontmoet je aan wal met een bord met je naam, dus je hoeft niet alleen door de kabelbaan te navigeren of je chauffeur te zoeken. Bereikbaarheid tot Fira: De oude haven heeft geen toegang tot de weg, dus je bereikt Fira met een watertaxi of kabelbaan. We kunnen een privé watertransfer regelen voor een extra € 40 — snel, mooi en geen wachtrij. Liever niet? Neem de kabelbaan voor €10 per persoon. - Vertragingen als gevolg van cruise-aanbestedingen of kabelbaanlijnen komen vaak voor — we zijn flexibel en passen de starttijd van uw tour hierop aan, zolang u contact houdt.
- Hotelgasten : Pick-up is beschikbaar bij alle hotels en Airbnb's op Santorini. Is uw locatie niet direct bereikbaar met de auto, dan regelen wij een opstappunt in de buurt op korte loopafstand.

What an amazing experience! My husband and I take cruises often and I prefer to book local tours on our own rather than through the ship. VIP Santorini Transfers and Tours is one of the best companies I have had the pleasure of working with. From the time I booked the tour through the day we arrived in Santorini, Katerina was unbelievably responsive and so helpful in making sure all of our requests and questions were answered and she help us plan the perfect day. The day of our tour we were met right at the port and then taken to meet Nick our guide for the day. We set up a private tour for the two of us and as Nick drove us around, we had great conversation, learned a lot about the island and about Greece. He knew all the best spots for photos (and was our photographer), we were able to customize our day as we went along. We started in Oia and worked our way down the island. We were able to decide how much time to spend at different stops. It was like having a local friend showing you around. We wanted to fit in lunch so he brought us to a great little lunch spot for a quick bite. I was able to stop in stores and shop along the way. We even decided to go wine tasting at the last minute and fit that in too. One day in Santorini isn’t enough time but Nick helped us make the most of the time we had, and we will definitely plan another tour with VIP Santorini Transfers and Tours on our next visit.
Amazing tour of unseen and off the tourist track parts of Santorini with Paulina!! We were headed to the airport but had 6 hours after our check out from the hotel, so we had asked for a general tour and had an incredible time! So worth it!! Paulina made sure we had plenty of photo ops and she took beautiful pics of our family at each stop. Very informative and beautiful tour! Don’t forget to ask for Paulina and she’ll cater it to your needs!
We booked with Santorini Private Tours. They set everything up for us including two water taxis to save lots of time and to avoid the donkeys and gondolas. Paulina was our tour guide for the eight hours tour. She was very knowledgeable and tailored the trip so that three generations (elderly, Middle Ages and teens / 20 year olds) could have a great tour.

Mary was a FABULOUS tour guide. She is knowledgeable and personable and our 5 hour tour allowed us to find all of the best photo spots on the island. And Mary acts as photographer too! Last stop was at a local restaurant down by the black beach and it was a great ending to our day.

Our guide, Nikolas, made the entire day feel like we were spending time with a friend rather than being on a tour. His personality, energy, and genuine passion for Santorini made the experience unforgettable. If you're visiting Santorini on a cruise, this is absolutely the best way to see the island without wasting half your day waiting for the cable car. The cable car is the primary way for cruise passengers to reach the town, and with thousands of people arriving from multiple ships, the lines can be incredibly long. Instead, this tour uses a water shuttle, which turned out to be one of the highlights of the day. The scenic 20-minute boat ride offers spectacular views of Santorini's dramatic cliffs before arriving on the opposite side of the island. Your guide meets you there, allowing you to begin exploring immediately while avoiding the crowds that are still waiting for the cable car. We were able to experience some of Santorini's most beautiful locations before they became busy, which made a huge difference.

Where do I begin?! We had the most wonderful time VIP Transfers and Tours. We chose to visit a few wineries and opted to do it this way so that we could choose where we wanted to go and have it just be us. What we did not expect was how absolutely wonderful our driver, Mary (Maria), would be. She really made our whole day. She knew everything there is to know about the island and turned what we thought would just be a private transport from winery to winery into a full tour.
