Ervaar hoe Santorini er in het afgelopen millennium vroeger uitzag door door de smalle steegjes van Megalochori te slenteren. In dit lieflijke, rustige dorp kun je door kleine geplaveide straatjes dwalen, de originele ondergrondse grotwoningen, kerken met blauwe koepels, witgekalkte torenklokken en Cycladische huizen die in het vulkanische gesteente zijn gegraven, verkennen. Deze pittoreske en niet-toeristische omgeving laat je kennismaken met de lokale cultuur en levensstijl.
Een van de meest herkenbare en mooiste stranden die het Cycladische Griekse eiland heeft. Red Beach is een vrij unieke geologische vindplaats en heeft een geweldig uitzicht. De unieke kleur van het rode zand/rots en het adembenemende vulkanische landschap maken dit strand tot een must-see plek.
Gelegen in het uiterste zuidwesten van Santorini, wordt de vuurtoren beschouwd als een van de mooiste in Griekenland. Gebouwd in 1892 door een Frans bedrijf aan de rand van een hoge klif recht boven de zeespiegel. De locatie is ideaal voor het maken van panoramische foto's en het bewonderen van de beroemde caldera van Santorini vanuit een ander gezichtspunt.

Onze gasten worden opgehaald bij alle hotels en Airbnb's in Santorini. Als de plaats vanwege beperkingen niet bereikbaar is met de auto, wordt de pick-up gehouden vanaf een nabijgelegen locatie op korte loopafstand. Cruiseschipreizigers: ontmoetingspunt is de bovenkant van de kabelbaan. Onze agenten zullen daar zijn met een naambord met de namen van reizigers erop. Luchthaven- of veerbootreizigers: het ophaalpunt is de aankomstterminal, waar uw gids/chauffeur een bord vasthoudt met uw naam erop.

I would rate this private tour with Vera a 10000 out of 10!! Stop everything you are doing and book this now!! Do not think twice about it. Vera was the absolute BEST of the BEST. She knew all the best places to go, skipping all the crazy lines and avoiding traffic. Took photos of us in every location. She literally took us around the whole island. I can’t believe how much we got to see. I can’t even list all the reasons why you need to book it. I have no doubt we would have regretted being on a cruise tour as the big buses from the big tours couldn’t go to most of the places that we could get to by being in a car. When we went to Oia, she took us around all the crazy lines and got us in the iconic spots because of her connections. I can’t sing Vera’s praises enough. We are on a 14 day cruise with this being the absolute best stop only because of the private tour. Also, on cruise ship, we had to take water shuttle in, then get in line for the cable cars. The ship got in late, but they were in constant contact with us and waited on us. Again, do not wait to book this cause I’m sure it sells out quick. We are so thankful we found this.

Addis was an absolutely amazing tour guide! Myself and my mom stumbled on this tour after the cable ride to the top of the island, the office was very welcoming with Veronica at the helm - the air conditioning was a godsend !, she showed us many options and was extremely honest about us overspending and was really trying to tailor make us the best tour at the right price . On calling the available driver’s we were delighted to learn the she would be making the drive with us. She picked us up in a luxury Mercedes with the air con on full - she knew exactly what we needed ! On the road , she brought up a wealth of knowledge about the history , economics and just about every question you have about Santorini ! We visited various points and Veronica took pics of us with the perfect scenery behind us all the way! She was extremely efficient in finding as a lovely seafood restaurant that also had a beach so we could relax , she was also well known here so we felt like VIP’s ! , we headed back through a winding road of vineyards to finish and again Veronica was explaining everything about the wine production in Santorini!! From the size of the vines , the cultivar’s , the export market - I could not believe what I was hearing!!?? Was this the perfect tour guide?? ( May I also add that my mom and I are smokers so Veronica was extremely helpful in recognizing our awful habit and giving us enough ‘smoke breaks!’ We returned to port and said a sad goodbye to our host . On getting back to our cruise ship I realized I was minus a phone ! We unfortunately left port with me thinking I had stupidly left it in the cable car or on a bench. We called it a few times , eventually a warm voice picked up , I left my phone in the Merc. Veronica arranged my phone to be posted back to my home address, saved me big time!! I cannot say enough about the customer service here , I myself have worked in hospitality for more that 30 years, I have never experienced such hospitality and knowledge at this. Well done Veronica and the team, hopefully see you again soon !
