Santorini : Megalochori paardrijtocht met Gids
Beschrijving
We beginnen ons avontuur vanuit het traditionele dorp Megalochori. Het is een van de meest traditionele dorpen van het eiland. We vervolgen onze rit door de velden en lokale wijngaarden. Ten slotte gaan we naar het caldera-pad, dus om de kans te hebben om het geweldige en unieke uitzicht op de caldera van Santorini te bewonderen.

Lovely horses and very friendly staff :) Took us to a great view of the caldera and the horses were very calm and trained Loved the experience
Quiet walk to Megalochori until you reach the viewpoint with the possibility of taking a few steps to trot.
Fantastic experience. Beautiful photos with an amazing view. Unfortunately, I had an asthma attack but the guys were super quick to respond and a car came to collect me very quickly. Sorry for the trouble. I’m fine now. Thank you

First problem: the booking asked, speaking language but the guide did not speak English; we used google translate to communicate when possible. We're beginner level but able to ride however, the guide (poor guy)walked us through town pulling the horses and pointing to things. Unfortunately, he couldn't tell us what they were in English. Lol. I offered to end the ride but he did not want to that. At one point we had to lay close to the Horse to avoid a low bridge. These poor animals are not in the best of conditions (dirty, smelly, worn) and there was something all over the Horse that made this even more gross. I canceled my plans and rushed back to the hotel to shower before doing anything else. The guide gave us the service so earned the money spent but definitely was not the experience we'd hoped for.
Avery enjoyable short ride to the edge of the cliff overlooking the caldera...the perfect spot for those scenic pictures of Santorini
The sunset was beautiful and food was very tasty. The guides made us feel at home and have great conversations
The horses were lovely and the guide took lots of beautiful photos for me on the horse. It was a great way to explore part of the village Megalachori which is very pretty so make sure you leave time to walk around after your ride.
Definitely recommend. Awesome communication. They even set up a taxi for us. Beautiful ride. Horses were so good and calm.
It was a small 50 mins horse ride. The horse don't gallop or trot they just walk calmly. A little overrpiced. Couldn't get sunset pictures of caldera as the horses are not well trained to stay still. Our guide Jimmy was good
