Deze tour is ontworpen om je smaak te stimuleren en 5 uur lang adembenemend te zijn. Een unieke ervaring met drie wijngaardstops van wereldklasse. Gedurende deze tijd ontdekt u de beste Santorini-wijnen die worden aangeboden terwijl u de meest gekoesterde bezienswaardigheden en landschappen van het eiland leert kennen. U krijgt de gelegenheid om te worden begroet door en te genieten van drie van de meest karakteristieke wijnmakerijen van het eiland. Naast uw wijnproeverij wordt u rondgeleid in de kelders en leert u hoe de wijn werd geproduceerd, gebotteld en gerijpt. We werken samen met top wijndomeinen op de eilanden. Houd er rekening mee dat, afhankelijk van beschikbaarheid en verschillende factoren zoals weersomstandigheden en openingstijden, sommige wijndomeinen niet beschikbaar zullen zijn. De wijnmakerij ligt zeer dicht bij de haven, met uitzicht op de magnifieke caldera van Santorini. Het werd in 1947 gebouwd door de familie Venetsanos en werd de eerste industriële wijnmakerij op het eiland.
Dit gevestigde wijndomein bestaat al generaties lang. Nu in zijn 4e generatie produceert het nog steeds authentieke en wijnen van de vulkanische bodem van Santorini.
Dit wijndomein ligt aan een strand, aan de oostkant van het eiland, tussen de gehuchten Kamari en Monolithos. Het industriële stenen gebouw was ooit een tomatenfabriek, gebouwd aan het begin van de 20e eeuw en werd tot de jaren 70 gebruikt voor het maken van aromatische tomatenpuree van lokale kerstomaatjes. Tegenwoordig is het omgevormd tot een moderne wijnmakerij met hoogtechnologische apparatuur en geavanceerde faciliteiten die hedendaagse wijnbereiding en ideale omstandigheden voor hoogwaardige productie garanderen.
Dit wijndomein werd opgericht in 1997 en cultiveert vandaag nog steeds 10 hectare wijngaarden en de meeste daarvan zijn biologisch.
De familie Argyros, opgericht in 1903, heeft een erfenis in de wijnbouw die tientallen jaren beslaat. Als Santorini’s grootste particuliere wijngaard eigenaar, hebben ze nu meer dan 120 hectare. niveaus van zuurgraad en de solide structuur.
De oorsprong gaat terug tot 1952. Het is onlosmakelijk verbonden met de vulkanische wijngaarden en de wijntraditie van Santorini. Tegenwoordig blijven hun wijnen prijzen verdienen op internationale en binnenlandse wedstrijden, terwijl ze momenteel de op twee na grootste wijnmakerij van Santorini zijn qua productievolume.
Het ligt tegenover de zee, in het gebied van de Kolumbo-vulkaan, in Oia.

If you're in Santorini and thinking about a wine tour, do this one. I booked with Giannis from Wineland Tours having basically no clue about wine, and he completely changed that in a few hours. By the end I could actually pick out the acidity in a glass, tell the different bottles apart, and I finally understood what makes Assyrtiko so special on this island. He explains it in a way that's easy to follow and never makes you feel out of your depth. Whether you're a wine person or a total beginner like I was, you'll get something out of it. Genuinely one of the highlights of the trip 🙏
Yiannis is a friendly and VERY knowledgable level three WSET sommelier. We so appreciated his willingness to have us experience 6+ varieties of grapes from Santorini. Argyris was our wonderful tour guide. So friendly and knowledgeable. He took us first to Koutsogiannopoulos wine museum, which wasn’t the best. Then to to Estate Argyros and last to Venetsanos. All the wineries are paid for once you book this. You could probably ask to go to a different winery or even Santos which is more touristy but it is right next to Venetsanos. Highly recommend using or asking for him to be your guide.
