1952: Het verhaal van onze wijnmakerij begint met grootvader Artemis Karamolegos die zijn wijngaard in Exo Gonia cultiveert. Hij produceert voornamelijk wijn voor zijn gezin, maar verkoopt ook wijn. 1995:Artemis Karamolegos’ zoon, Vangelis, neemt de wijnproductie over, maar nogmaals, niet op professioneel niveau 2003:Artemis Karamolegos, de kleinzoon, krijgt de teugels van de familie in handen bedrijf. Hij begint de goede kwaliteit te produceren, gebottelde en geëtiketteerde (toen Ο.P.Α.P) wijn “SANTORINI”. 2004:Artemis houdt toezicht op de vernieuwing van de oude wijngaard. Hij plant zeldzame traditionele druivensoorten uit Santorini, zoals Assyrtiko, Aidani en Mavrotragano. Hij begint de eerste gebottelde wijnen van de wijnmakerij, Santorini, Nykteri en Vinsanto, op de lokale markt te verkopen. Wijnmakerijrondleiding en proeverij (6 glazen wijn)
Een authentieke en traditionele wijnproeverij in een ontspannen, door een familie beheerd wijnhuis dat al sinds de jaren 1950 bestaat. Proeverijen kunnen Roze, Brousko, Mezzo en Vinsanto zijn, maar ook Nychteri – een traditionele Santorinianse wijn gemaakt van overrijpe druiven en gerijpt in oude Russische of Franse vaten. Naast wijnen verkopen de Arvanitis een verscheidenheid aan zelfgemaakte producten zoals olijfolie, azijn, zongedroogde tomaten, jam, Griekse fava (gele spliterwtendip) en lemonsanto, een likeur gemaakt met 100% Santorinianse citroenen; allemaal geteeld en verpakt door de familie.
Oia is het mooiste dorp van Santorini dat onlangs begon te kijken als een glamoureuze stad. Geniet van de unieke zonsondergang na de premium wijntour!

Great experience! Our guide Fanny picked up us out our hotel and took us to 3 amazing wineries and to Oia for sunset. She was so knowledgeable about wine and history of Santorini and so welcoming and kind! She was a great host and made this tour even better for us! All the wine was delicious!
This experience was VERY high-value! Beautiful wineries with rich histories, delicious wines and snacks, and an incredible hostess. Everything went smoothly, and I highly recommend this for individuals, couples, or groups as a way to explore Santorini.

What a fantastic wine tour in every way possible! I can’t speak highly enough of our guide Fani. I wasn’t expecting it to be just my partner & I, which made it all the more personal. Fani was extremely knowledgeable in both Santorini’s history & wine. Being an oenologist & viticulturist we found her background & work history absolutely fascinating. Us having been to Oia the night before, Fani took us to a hidden viewpoint for the sunset, where there was only a couple more people. When our night was over i was ecstatic because of our sensational day but also sad as it felt like i was saying goodbye to a close friend. So thankyou Santorini Pickups for the fantastic experience, and an extra special thank you to Fani for everything, and making our day one we will treasure forever.
A great evening out! Fanny was very knowledgable and friendly, and the tour took us all over the island to visit three wineries of different sizes and styles.
Amazing tour! Ended up being a private tour which was a nice surprise. Elias was very kind and even took us to an amazing sunset spot and let us walk around Meglachori village for a little bit. The van was comfy too!
