Sanjay Gandhi National Park is een van de meest bezochte nationale parken in Azië en wereldwijd het grootste park met een scala aan flora en fauna. Het bosgebied van het park herbergt meer dan 1.000 plantensoorten, 251 soorten trek-, land- en watervogels, 5.000 soorten insecten en 40 soorten zoogdieren. Daarnaast biedt het park onderdak aan 38 soorten reptielen, 9 soorten amfibieën, 150 soorten vlinders en een grote verscheidenheid aan vissen.
De 2400 jaar oude Kanheri-grotten, gebeeldhouwd door monniken uit de rotsachtige basaltkliffen, liggen in het park. We enjoyed our trip with Kavita to the National Park and caves. Kavita was super friendly, great knowledge and excellent English. We highly recommend. Also our driver Deebak was the best.
Booked a Sanjey Gandhi Tour, to see the famous caves, flaura and fauna. Had a very nice guide, he knew lots about history, which was interesting. We travelled with regular park buses and saw all the caves. Initially at the reservation process we had a bit of an issue since we were 2, but only could book for 3. Also no option to select a reduced price for the tour WITHOUT pickup service. Hence the tour was super expensive . We got a smaller refund, but was still too costly. Thank you anyway!

As we travel to Mumbai, it was very difficult to explore but Mumbai Delight Tour operater made are day worth it by arranging our tour & we enjoyed it with our little child. I recommend Mumbai Delight Tour has the guide briefed us in detail about the Park & Caves.
The view and amazing and peaceful. Never thought I'll find such an amazing place like this. My family and I had lots of fun. The view was really beautiful 😍and I loved each and every moment there!
