Van het uitgebreide vogelleven in de Ramsar Convention Walvisbay Wetlands, waar van tijd tot tijd tot 250000 vogels te zien zijn, tot de vele zeehonden in de zeehondenkolonie (50 000+ SEALS) waaronder enorme stieren en pups, tot het prachtige uitzicht op Sandwich Harbor, waar de zee de duinen ontmoet en de omliggende duinen te bieden hebben, samen met de adrenaline die het bekwame duinrijden van de gids oproept, de pure passie en het enthousiasme die de gids uitbeeldt van dit prachtige schilderachtige maar ruige gebied. Deskundige en gepassioneerde gidsen maken deze tour uitzonderlijk. een uitzonderlijk unieke ervaring maar weinigen krijgen het te zien onvergetelijke herinneringen creëren. nadat we je hebben opgehaald bij je hotel rijden we naar de Flamingo's in de buurt van de Walvisbay Waterfront, vanaf hier passeren we de Ramsar Wetlands en Lagune, bekijken we duizenden vogels, de roze meren van de zoutmijn op weg naar Pelican Point waar we de 70000 bezoeken sterke zeehondenkolonie, vanaf hier brengt onze reis ons naar het zuiden naar de torenhoge duinen, waar duinen de zee ontmoeten, met adembenemende uitzichten en adrenaline-opwekkende duinrit, op zoek naar dierenleven in dit desolate woestijngebied, we bespreken geschiedenis, bekijken dit zeer mooie maar harde gebied en dan terug naar uw hotel. Onvergetelijke herinneringen creëren. Na deze spannende dag kunt u genieten van uw sundowner.
We stoppen bij de Walvisbaai Lagune en bekijken de duizenden Flamingo's en andere steltlopers in het belangrijke Ramsar Wetland ZO'N 250 000 vogels van tijd tot tijd in dit gebied dan draaien we naar het noorden naar de zeehondenkolonie. Hier zijn 70 000 zeehonden van dichtbij te zien en te observeren. Als we geluk hebben, vinden we een jakhals op zoek naar iets te eten

Ophaallocaties en -tijden
We halen op bij het hotel waar u verblijft in Swakopmund en Walvisbay, of bij de Walvisbay Harbor and Airport. Onze tour begint in Swakopmund en Walvisbay pick-up is 30 minuten later Gelieve nota te nemen van alle cruise liner passagiers. We staan in de haven na de eerste poort met een Gazebo waar ons logo op staat. Let op: uw gids zal ook staan met een naambord. Let op alle Cruise Liner passagiers, uw tour pick-up tijd begint een uur nadat u bent afgemeerd. De tour vertrekt uiterlijk anderhalf uur na de ophaaltijd. Laatkomers worden beschouwd als een no show

- We hebben een minimumaantal van 2 deelnemers nodig. Als dit aantal niet wordt gehaald, krijgt u een andere datum/ervaring of volledige restitutie aangeboden.
- Deze tour wordt zelden geannuleerd vanwege slecht weer, het regent nooit, maar we hebben sterke zandstormen. Mocht de tour worden geannuleerd, dan krijg je een ander tijdschema/datum of volledige restitutie aangeboden.
- We behouden ons het recht voor om de route te wijzigen als het weer of de veiligheid dit toelaat
- Duitstalige gidsen zijn zeer schaars. Deze worden toegewezen op basis van wie het eerst komt, het eerst maalt.
- Let op: vanwege de schaarste aan Duitse gidsen kunnen we geen Duitssprekende gids garanderen, in het hoogseizoen of wanneer een cruiseschip in de haven ligt en 2000 gasten van boord gaan.

We started with the Seal Tour, which was already an extraordinary experience. Seeing the seals up close was unforgettable and our captain, Okkie, was a very interesting man who made the trip even more enjoyable with his knowledge and stories. We loved talking to him. Our Sandwich Harbour Adventure, including the seals, Sandwich Harbour and the dune drive, was one of the absolute highlights of our trip. The landscapes were breathtaking, and the places we visited were truly impressive. A special thank you goes to our guide, Gerhard, who made us feel safe and well looked after at all times. With his great sense of humor, he answered all our questions, explained everything perfectly and showed us some of the most amazing places we have ever seen. His friendliness, professionalism and enthusiasm made the experience truly special. The snack provided during the tour was excellent as well and completed the experience perfectly. Unforgettable experience! Winton, our friendly host/driver, picked us up from our hotel, drove with awesome skill, maneuvered through the dunes to all the best highlight spots. Knowledgeable, informative, cheerful, kept us happy and excited all the way. A lunch spread on the dunes kept us well-fed, the stories kept us engaged and Winton's drivint dropped our jaws.

Well organised, friendly, informative guide. Watch Top Gear Beach Buggy episode for example of dune driving. Certainly lived up to name of Namibian rollercoaster. My husband is used to beach driving and we had vehicle but opted for tour. Was nice for him to sit back and enjoy scenery. Vehicles well maintained and felt safe. Highlight was the seals. Be prepared for the young ones to invade your peronal space. They do like to explore with their mouths just like any kid so kept fingers and toes away just in case of accidental bites. Cannot emphasise how much we much loved this bit of experience, unmissable.

We had an amazing day tour with our driver and guide Tongai. He has a great knowledge of all of Namibia, history and the natural world, and is a great communicator. He’s also a masterful fine driver - the dunes we explored and the views of the sea from the top were amazing. We even saw humpbacks from the top of the dunes! A great way to spend a day, and a hearty local lunch too.

This trip was really worth it!! - top communication - very friendly pickup - LeClue is a fun and competent guide who also likes to implement a spontaneous, unplanned photo/infostop - paddling with the seals was mega! A must for all animal lovers! (Attention: you will also like to get wet here, so either put on fast drying clothes or have change clothes with you. If you are afraid for your phone - it is best to pack a waterproof case) You should not forget that the seals are wildlife and of course it is not guaranteed that you will get a friendly visit on your kayak. However, we were lucky and had some seals on board our kayak. Even without so close contact it is impressive to paddle between the colony of seals! - LeClue then maneuvered us through the dunes with a lot of fun and enthusiasm. He attaches great importance to the most beautiful spots without having to drive to many other vehicles and still giving his guests the best views and experiences. He answers all questions, has a lot of information and is always ready to joke :) - the food on the tour was top!
