Sandboarden in Jeffreys Bay, Zuid-Afrika

De stranden rond Jeffreys Bay zijn de thuisbasis van enkele van de meest spectaculaire stranden in Zuid-Afrika, perfect om de sport sandboarden uit te proberen. Sandboarden is net als snowboarden makkelijk te leren en een leuke manier om van deze natuurlijke omgeving te genieten. Een instructeur en uitrusting worden verstrekt voor deze activiteit van 2 uur. Keuze uit vertrektijd in de ochtend of middag bij het boeken. Maak er een dagje uit van en combineer het met onze kajaktocht op de lagune.

- Houd er rekening mee dat Sandboarden niet mogelijk is als het regent of na regenval totdat de duinen zijn opgedroogd. Kan een dag of twee duren.
- Een minimum van 2 personen per boeking is vereist
- Een kleine hoeveelheid van het lopen is betrokken, ongeveer 300 meter naar de duinen langs het strand
- Vanwege oneffen oppervlakten, zandduinen, is deze tour niet aan te raden voor mensen met een loophandicap of met behulp van een rolstoel

Was lots of fun. Very nice tour guide. You need to be fit lots of running up and down the dune 🤣 Will do it again! Kida loved it I have a daugher of 7 years and boys of 12,15 and 17. All loved it
Really highly recommended. A great experience that promises a lot of fun. The guide was very nice and helped us with the first rides on the boards. What's a bit of a shame is that there are no safes on site to lock up your valuables. You can't take anything with you.
The experience was a little more of a workout than we were expecting because climbing up sand dunes isn’t the easiest! Thank you for fitting us in just before we had to leave jeffrey’s bay. Special mention to Vian who was an excellent guide. Came down all the way and was so patient and kept to our pace. He showed us around the area too and it was a lovely time we had with him. A lot of fun, but be prepared to walk up the dunes (after every slide down). I recommend taking a hat and something to get the sand off (like babypowder)
Glad you guys enjoyed it, yes sand gets in everywhere and a hat and sunscreen.
Do not miss this fun activity! We had the best time- and it really is an all ages, all abilities thing to do… those who can’t stand on it can sled down the dunes.

Went with a group of 10 girls and had a absolute blast. The instructor let us do whatever we wanted, and we did some fun things after learning how to go down ;)

We had a lot of fun during the sandboarding. Taylor was the perfect teacher, she is very kind and also told us some great facts about the country. Also it’s a nice stop on the garden route. The beach here is amazing and there is a save parking area and a good restaurant nearby. No reason to skip this!!
