Het Gaslamp Quarter, bekend als het historische hart van San Diego, is een 16 blokken tellende downtownwijk vol met uitgaansgelegenheden en wereldberoemde restaurants. Vol met Victoriaanse architectuur en kleine musea, evenals Horton Plaza Park en Petco Park, het is een must-see.

Seaport Village, met meer dan 50 winkels en 17 restaurants en eetgelegenheden, is een prachtig winkelgebied aan de waterkant om op elk moment van de dag te verkennen. Het is een prachtige plek om de schepen in de baai te bekijken, of gewoon rond te lopen op de kronkelende paden en de unieke en soms eclectische winkeltjes te verkennen.
De USS Midway miste de Tweede Wereldoorlog met slechts een week, opgedragen op 10 september 1945. Ondanks dat was de USS Midway het langst opererende vliegdekschip van de 20ste eeuw totdat het in 1992 werd ontmanteld. De Midway dient nu als een uniek permanent museum aan het water .
De Rozentuin van Balboa Park heeft een verbazingwekkende 1.600 rozen van 130 soorten met elk jaar nieuwe soorten en schatten van rozen. De tuin bloeit van maart tot december en is een wandeling van drie acre van kleur en schoonheid.
Een kenmerk van San Diego, het San Diego Convention Center, heeft meer dan zeshonderdduizend vierkante meter aan ruimte, met een capaciteit van 125.000. It was an amazing tour! Was our first time riding a Segway. Our guide Jeff was so much fun showing us around the Gaslamp district and we wanted to do this again in La Jolla but didn’t have enough time. Julia is another guide who tagged alongside us and was super knowledgeable about the area too! Lucky for us, we booked on a weekday and had the tour to ourselves, so basically a private tour. Will definitely use them again and request Jeff or Julia! I highly recommend them!

Phenomenal tour with Jeff -- this is our fifth Segway excursion (in different cities) and we loved the personal touches on the tour. We seriously don't think it could have been any better. We will 100% be recommending this for company to friends and family. If you want to get the lay off the land before setting off to enjoy the area... this is a fantastic way to do it. Kenneth with Another Side of San Diego tours was AMAZING to work with, we worked together planning over the course of 9 or 10 months and from the very start he was extremely communicative and helpful with planning this group activity. The segway tour was wonderful! We were provided with helmets, water bottles, and the Segways. It turned out that the tour consisted of just our family so we were able to customize it to our preferences. Amy was knowledgeable, helpful, and kept the tour going at a quick pace. She even gave us restaurant referrals for later in our trip. We got to practice on the Segways outside the office and that helped us feel more confident before starting the tour. We were able to use bike lanes and walking paths besides just city streets which made it more comfortable. We covered a lot of area and visited many popular spots, receiving historic background for each area. The time flew by and we enjoyed the tour very much. We've been to San Diego many times before and this was by far the easiest way to get an overview of the city. We'd highly recommend this Segway tour!

The Segway tour was amazing! Mari and Matt made sure we were comfortable on the Segway before we started our journey into the streets of the Gaslamp district. We visited each place as advertised. The tour went for just over 2 hours. The flexibility with this company was great as we had to reschedule our tour at the last minute and they were able to accommodate us. Thanks for a memorable tour!
