Samurai Training (Kyudo - Boogschieten en Katana) in een kleine groep

Leer de kunst van het boogschieten door een echte Japanse boog uit te proberen (deze kan groter zijn dan jij!) en leer de technieken van het gebruik van een zwaard met één snijkant. Reis terug in de tijd en word een woeste Japanse krijger door je om te kleden in een samoerai outfit en deel te nemen aan een leuke samoerai training. Lokale meester zal u persoonlijk helpen. Mini games en grappige interacties inbegrepen. Maak je geen zorgen als je een complete Beginner bent! Lokale Gids zal zich volledig aanpassen aan uw niveau. Kyudo is een unieke Japanse vechtkunst met een lange geschiedenis. Het zal u verbazen hoe anders het is dan het westerse boogschieten. De boog is zo groot dat hij groter kan zijn dan jij! Katana is een traditioneel Japans enkelzijdig zwaard. Beheers de pose en de manier waarop je deze vasthoudt om de sterkste samoerai te worden in dit hete zomerseizoen. Personeel zal u helpen om veel foto's te nemen. Om beide trainingsopties te kiezen, begint u met Boogschieten en voegt u vervolgens katana toe als extra (u krijgt dan ook korting!)

Shina and Joe are great instructors - enthusiastic and supportive. The learning time was interesting and interactive. It was a good sample of using a katana and archery. Archery is a lot harder than the first 3 stances of katana, so it would have been good to have more practice time there, but it makes sense that it had to be half/half. Go a little early if you can because it takes time to get dressed into the samurai clothing.

A must do when visiting Tokyo. The instructors and centre itself are fantastic. We learned Kyudo and Samurai training for an hour, which was the perfect amount of time to get to grips with the basics. Our boys loved it, and it was fun dressing up in the costumes. All the staff were so kind and knowledgeable, we highly recommend this experience.
