Ontsnap in de hoogten van Dhofar tijdens deze halve dag safari naar de top van Jabal Samhan - de torenhoge piek biedt een prachtig uitzicht, koele bries en dramatische landschappen. Begin je avontuur met een stop bij het prachtige Taqah Cliff Viewpoint, waar de steile kliffen dramatisch uitmonden in de Arabische Zee. Geniet van het panoramische uitzicht en voel de koele kustbries voordat u verder rijdt met een schilderachtige rit door de charmante kustplaats Taqah, bekend om zijn traditionele Dhofari-architectuur en ontspannen sfeer aan zee.
Je reis leidt vervolgens landinwaarts naar het weelderige Wadi Darbat, een groene vallei die tot leven komt met natuurlijke bronnen, watervallen (seizoensgebonden) en grazende kamelen. Het is de perfecte plek om te genieten van de rustige schoonheid van het zuiden van Oman en maak een aantal ongelooflijke foto's.
Verken vervolgens het ontzagwekkende Tawi Attair Sinkhole, een van de grootste in de regio. Deze massieve geologische formatie – bekend als de “Well of Birds” – biedt een kijkje in het oude verleden van de aarde en toont de dramatische topografie van Oman.
Terwijl u de bergen ingaat, bereikt u het adembenemende uitzichtpunt Jabal Samhan, hoog boven de kliffen. Geniet hier van een ontspannen lunch te midden van koele berglucht en een prachtig panoramisch uitzicht op diepe ravijnen en eindeloze luchten - een hoogtepunt van de dag.
Na de lunch stapt u in een minder bekend wonder: een bos met Baobabbomen, zeldzame en iconische symbolen van het uithoudingsvermogen van de natuur. Deze ongewone bomen, met hun bolvormige stammen en grimmige silhouetten, bieden een kijkje in de unieke ecologie van Dhofar.
Sluit de tour af met een leuke en fascinerende stop bij het Zero Gravity Point in Hasheer Valley, waar een optische illusie voertuigen bergop laat rollen. Een merkwaardige en memorabele ervaring om uw bergreis te beëindigen. Na een dag vol schoonheid en ontdekking, ontspant u op de rit terug naar uw hotel en neemt u onvergetelijke herinneringen mee aan de verborgen hooglanden van Oman.

The trip was absolutely wonderful! Our tour guide, Abu Hamza, was so patient and kind — he explained everything in detail and took us everywhere, making sure we didn’t miss a thing. The waterfalls hadn’t filled up yet because we visited in July, but all the other activities were still there and we really enjoyed them. Overall, it was a beautiful experience

This was a great experience and our guide was from the area and provided a lot of local information. We saw the Taqah cliff, so many camels, a picnic lunch, and the Samhan mountain and Wadi Darbat. Would recommend!

This tour and our tour guide, Momen, far exceeded any expectations we had of our day in Salalah. He showed us Salalah’s beautiful beaches, resorts, and surrounding villages. Then we drove through the mountainous region where camels roamed free, waterfalls flowed into turquoise pools, and clouds danced around sheer rock-faced cliffs. We saw massive sinkholes, the stately Baobab trees and experienced the amazing location of gravity that had enough force, it pulled our car across the pavement! Momen introduced us to Arabian coffee with dates and the delectable taste of fire grilled camel with warm pita bread and savory humus. We then stopped at a lovely roadside fruit stand where Momen ordered freshly-cut coconuts, and we sipped the refreshing juice then snacked on its fresh, meaty interior. We loved our time in Salalah almost as much as we loved Momen. Thank you so much for such a wonderful experience, we can’t recommend him and this tour enough!!

Very nice ride! We did it in December, very pleasant weather and very few tourists. The landscapes are very beautiful and impressive. Hamid is an excellent guide, full of anecdotes and information to give us. Full of kindness, it makes this tour all the more authentic. We highly recommend!
