De passie van ons team van professionals om van de reiservaring van onze klanten een persoonlijke en onvergetelijke ervaring te maken. De rondleiding door de zoutmijnen van Maras-Moray omvat een bezoek aan een opvangcentrum voor endemische dieren, een plek waar we meer te weten kunnen komen over (lama's, alpaca's, vicuña's en huanaco's) en het belang van de Andescondor. We bezochten de zoutmijnen van Maras en het Inca-landbouwexperimentcentrum MORAY. We doen onze tour in kleine groepen van niet meer dan 10 personen, wat een meer persoonlijke ervaring garandeert. We halen onze klanten op bij het hotel en brengen ze terug naar hun hotel het einde.

We halen u om 8.00 uur op bij uw hotel en brengen ons vervolgens in ongeveer 15 minuten naar het opvangcentrum voor inheemse dieren van Zuid-Amerika (lama's, alpaca's, huanaco's en vicuña's), waar we ook het belang zullen zien van de Andescondor, handen De gemeenschap is ook een cultureel centrum waar verschillende lokale tradities en gebruiken worden gewaardeerd, evenals voorouderlijke textieltechnieken waar onze reizigers textielwerken leren herkennen die door lokale bewoners zijn gemaakt.
Nadat we de handen van de gemeenschap hadden bezocht, vertrokken we voor een rit van een uur in onze auto naar de zoutmijnen van Maras, wat een zoutmijn is. Onderweg zullen we het majestueuze landschap van de heilige vallei van de Inca's waarderen, bij aankomst in de zoutmijnen we zullen een bezoek brengen aan onze professionele gids gedurende ongeveer 45 minuten, waar de reiziger zal leren waarom we zout hebben in de bergen van de Andes, het belang van zout in de tijd van de Inca's, het huidige gebruik en de voordelen ervan voor buurtbewoners. Ook in deze attractie kun je de beroemde fleur de sel en roze zout kopen.
Vervolgens gingen we na de zoutmijnen van Maras in ongeveer 30 minuten per transport naar het centrum voor experimenten en genetische verbetering van landbouwproducten in de tijd van de Inca's (MORAY), waar onze professionele gids uitleg zal geven over het meest indrukwekkende landbouwexperimentcentrum. Inca, waar je het belang en het doel leert van de uitbreiding van de genetische diversiteit van de landbouwproductie in het Inca-rijk. Na dit bezoek gaan we terug naar Cusco, ongeveer een uur rijden.

The salt mine is basically a very beautiful activity. It’s quite high up in Peru, so if possible, go there only after you’ve had some rest, slept well, and gotten used to the altitude. If you don’t do that, then, well… the stairs you’ll see there can be a bit much. When you arrive, you buy the entrance ticket, and after that you can start heading down. There’s a small chapel and some really cool graffiti—as you can see, I uploaded photos of it. Then from above you can take photos of the salt mine from a distance, and of course you can walk down as well. Naturally, the downhill walk isn’t that tiring, and up close you can see how the salt mines work, and so on. After you’ve photographed everything, you start heading back up. At that altitude, the climb can be quite demanding, so if someone is tired, sleepy, or not in great physical shape, they should think twice about walking back up. So I definitely recommend it if you can handle a lot of stairs—then you should visit this salt mine. But even if you’re interested in the salt mine and don’t want to walk down, that’s not a problem either, because you can take photos from above. So it’s definitely worth visiting this salt mine.
The private tour with Fabrizio and his driver Freddie was definitely better than I had expected, and one of the best things to do in Cuzco. Apart from the Salineras de Maras and Moray, which are incredible places to visit and definitely not to be missed, visiting the Manos de la Comunidad and seeing all the animals like llamas and alpacas, and how they handmake all kinds of textiles was great! To be honest it was one of the highlights of my time here in Peru!

The experience was excellent. The tour was very well organized and both the guide and the driver were very friendly and professional. This was a great tour, we got to leave the city area and see really neat places. All the stops were amazing and our guide Fabrizio was very knowledgeable and answered our questions. Our driver Freddy was great too. I would plan for more time than is indicated with this tour though. Tour is from 8am-2pm. I definitely recommend taking this tour!

I highly recommend this tour! It was very informative, and we had a great introduction to Cusco. If you are pressed for time, this is an excellent tour. Our guide, Fabricio, was highly motivated and friendly. He was extremely accommodative and flexible. The history and rich details about Cusco and Incan empire were discussed. We absolutely loved the Manos de la Comunidad and had the wonderful experience of seeing and feeding llamas, alpaca, huanacos and even got to see vicunas and condors. Bonus with the tapestry and traditional textile making and a chance to shop at a boutique store. What an experience! This was incredibly in-depth!

We stayed with Gary for three days: in Cusco, in the Sacred Valley and in Machupicchu. A great connoisseur of history, he transmitted his knowledge to us in a close and simple way. It was a real pleasure to discover more of the Inca and pre-Inca history at your side. And the visit to Machupicchu we will remember all our lives. Gary is a nice, friendly and fun person.
