Zoals je weet, wordt Vietnam "keuken van de wereld" genoemd, waar we veel lekkere gerechten hebben, niet alleen Pho maar ook Banh Mi. Hoewel Saigon de grootste dynamische stad van ons land is, kun je elk speciaal voedsel gemakkelijk vinden als je precies weet waar het is. Onze lokale bevolking gelooft wel dat het meest heerlijke eten oorspronkelijk wordt geserveerd bij straatverkopers of kleine lokale restaurants, maar niet bij toeristisch chique restaurants met een lui lang menu.

We hebben ongeveer 4 verschillende stops voor veel straatgerechten, rijden door 5 districten voor sightseeing en verkennen meer op verborgen plaatsen die niet in je reisgids staan. Ons menu is vrij flexibel vanwege uw eigen speciale verwachtingen, persoonlijke interesse of voedselallergieën. Dit is ons normale menu rondleiding door Saigon voor straateten: Gemengde rijstpapier salade en tropisch sap of kokosnoot sap. Gegrild rundvlees gewikkeld in betelblad met Vietnamees bier. Drie typische noedelsoepen, origineel uit Noord-Centraal - Zuid-Vietnam of Banh Xeo (de Vietnamese gebakken hartige pannenkoek). Lokaal slak- en zeevruchtenbuffet. Toetje.

We did a foodie tour with Tim, a local boy who was friendly, knowledgeable and very enthusiastic. His spoken English was excellent. He took us to places that we would never have dreamed of finding on our own. He described the food and ingredients with fascinating detail. None of the street food we tried can we find in Australia. All freshly made on the spot and super delicious. Felt like a local for a brief moment in time. Would not hesitate to do the tour again with Tim. The private tour was booked through the hotel we were staying.
We had a fantastic afternoon with Hao. We had 2 families on the tour, and he went out of his way to make sure every one of us enjoyed ourselves. It was such a great way to experience Saigon and so glad we did it. Hao had lots of really interesting information to share, and the way he did it with humour and energy was brilliant!
