Onze tochten zijn voorzien van hoogwaardige Pedego e-bikes, die een soepele en comfortabele rit garanderen. Onder leiding van deskundige gidsen combineert deze tour de spanning van avontuur met inzichtelijk commentaar, waardoor het een onvergetelijke ervaring wordt voor zowel natuurliefhebbers als avonturiers. Ervaar een van de meest verbluffende vertoningen van het natuurlijke woestijnlandschap dat het zuidwesten te bieden heeft tijdens onze Saguaro National Park East E-bike-tour! Dit park is zowel bij de lokale bevolking als bij de bezoekers favoriet voor jong en oud. Het is een gemakkelijke rit met prachtige vergezichten over de Sonorawoestijn die uniek zijn voor Tucson en de omliggende bergen. De lus van 8 mijl die we rijden is verhard en slingert op en neer als een superleuke en unieke rit door de woestijn. Ruiters zullen inheemse planten en dieren bekijken terwijl ze worden omringd door het spectaculaire landschap van de Sonorawoestijn, inclusief een stop bij het bezoekerscentrum op weg naar buiten. We eindigen weer bij Saguaro Corners voor een drankje en een hapje (niet inbegrepen).

- Baby's en kleine kinderen kunnen in een wandel- of kinderwagen mee
- Reizigers moeten ten minste een gemiddelde conditie hebben
- Heeft u een kinder- of huisdierendrager op twee wielen die u achter uw fiets kunt slepen? - Nee
- Omdat fietsen een fysieke activiteit is (ja, zelfs e-biken!) moeten alle fietsers in fysieke conditie zijn om een elektrische fiets te kunnen besturen
- Vanwege het model van e-bikes die we gebruiken, moeten alle rijders 110-260 lbs. en 5'1" tot 6' 5" lang zijn. Wie niet aan deze criteria voldoet, past niet veilig op onze e-bikes.
- Alle rijders moeten 16 jaar of ouder zijn om een elektrische fiets te mogen besturen.
- Deze activiteit is NIET voor beginnende fietsers, of mensen die de afgelopen 10 jaar niet op een waterfiets hebben gezeten (stationaire fietsen tellen niet mee).

Highly recommend. What a great way to explore Saguaro National Park, learn from smart and passionate guides, and feel like a kid again as you fly down hills on your bike. We had a small group of 6 led by Carol who was an extremely fun and knowledgeable guide. The two hours were broken up with very frequent stops to take pictures, stat hydrated (although with the bike wind you never felt hot), learn about the desert, and even take very short optional nature hikes in the middle. Most of the tour route is on a one- way road with very little car traffic and speed limits of 20 - your bike can go faster than the cars. If you want to go slow and take your time, this tour might be a good way to pre-explore the route, then go back later to hike and explore the areas again later. Overall, a wonderful and fun way to explore that felt unhurried, safe, and unique.

It was a nice ride. Not very challenging. The views were beautiful and the guide was knowledgeable. Bring plenty of water and wear sunscreen. There is no shade.

The ride is easy with many stops. No worries if you don’t do a lot of bike riding. James gave helpful info about the plants and wildlife in the park and some history of the area. The road that you ride on does have car traffic but the speed limit is low and it’s a one way loop.

We had Jeff as a guide today and he was great! There was time to practice riding the very high-quality e-bikes before hand, which proved to be well worth the time. He took us on amazing tour, stopping frequently along the way to teach us about the animal and plant life. Lots of photo ops. The e-bikes were fabulous, and enabled you to cover a lot of ground without maximum exertion. All in all, a great trip. Tips: Bring water bottles to store in a mini bag on the bike. Bring cash for a tip. Pick an early ride to limit heat exposure

Loved seeing the desert on bikes in the evening. The light was amazing. It was worth the expense, although I do wish we had had more daylight time to see and explore. The e- bikes were really peppy!
