Deze ervaring is bedoeld voor vrienden, familie of groepen (minimaal dubbele bezetting) die graag een safari-gamedrive willen doen zonder noodzakelijkerwijs in het park te moeten overnachten. Met een totale tourduur van 7 uur vanuit Johannesburg is Dinokeng Game Reserve Gauteng's grootste "Big Five" natuurreservaat, gelegen 1 uur en 40 minuten ten noorden van Johannesburg en 40 minuten van Pretoria. De duur van een game drive-sessie is doorgaans 2 uur en 30 minuten op de 4x4-trucks met open achterkant, bestuurd door de aanwezige game ranger, die leuke weetjes over het park vertelt terwijl hij door de uitgestrekte, stoffige paden navigeert. Populaire dierenwaarnemingen om naar uit te kijken zijn nijlpaarden, olifanten, neushoorns, leeuwen, buffels, giraffen, zebra's, kudu's, jakhalzen, impala's, gnoes en krokodillen.

Dinokeng Game Reserve is Gauteng's grootste "Big Five" natuurreservaat, 1 uur en 40 minuten ten noorden van Johannesburg en 40 minuten van Pretoria. De populaire gamedrives bij zonsopgang (05.30 uur in de zomer of 06.00 uur in de winter) of zonsondergang (16.00 uur in de zomer of 15.30 uur in de winter) zijn de beste tijden om op zoek te gaan naar de Big 5. De duur is doorgaans 2 uur en 30 minuten op de 4x4-trucks met open achterkant, bestuurd door game rangers, die feiten over de dieren vertellen terwijl ze door het terrein navigeren. Nijlpaarden, olifanten, neushoorns, leeuwen, cheeta's, luipaarden, buffels, giraffen, zebra's, kudu's, jakhalzen, impala's, gnoes en krokodillen behoren tot de populaire bezienswaardigheden om naar uit te kijken. Elke vrachtwagen biedt plaats aan in totaal 10 volwassenen, zodat de rangers meer tijd hebben om al uw individuele vragen over de natuur te beantwoorden. Flessenwater en snacks worden verstrekt tijdens een minipauze halverwege de tour. Ophalen en afzetten in een sedan of minibus met airconditioning vanuit uw hotel in Johannesburg, Pretoria of de internationale luchthaven O. R. Tambo.

Gamedrives bij zonsopgang zijn normaal gesproken koud weer, dus kleed je warm aan, want we gebruiken 4 x 4 vrachtwagens met open achterkant. Zonnebrandcrème wordt in de zomer aangeraden tijdens gamedrives bij zonsondergang.

An amazing afternoon safari, Jacob our guide was so welcoming and friendly. We were collected from the hotel by Jacob and taken directly to the reserve for the drive. The drive itself was fantastic we got see to so many animals and Lovemore our guide on the game drive made the most of the time we had. Our young daughter will have many memories from this tour and I would recommend this for any family looking for a game drive.
What wonderful time we had throughout that entire afternoon. Amazing wildlife sightings, from the Cheetahs you spotted that set the tone of the rest of the safari game drive. Our local site safari ranger pulled off an amazing series of wonderful wildlife findings during the sunset Game drive that we will cherish forever. We look forward to your return to South Africa.
Make sure you layer up for early morning game rides. Make sure you have warm hat and possibly a scarf to cover your face because of the wind. Our driver Luke was fantastic. We were able to see beautiful animals. Such a great experience.
We felt welcomed with helpfulness and kindness, the Service was organized with care and attention. Everything perfect, accompanied in every step. We met a really nice person who loves his job. Preferable to the big tour operators who have lost their souls.

The driver (Mr Solace) was very patient and kind. The drive was nice, but the wildlife sightings were disappointing. didn't see the big 5.
