The walk was an exceptionally peaceful experience - away from the bustle of busier tourist spots.
Our hosts graciously waited for us to catch a cab over, as we tried to meet them at the wrong meeting point. To our surprise - it was truly private tour - two guides and two alpacas for the two of us. Nayda and Ysidro were patient and knowledgeable and taught us a couple of Quechua words. The alpaca were cute, moody teenagers, but they were docile enough. We ended with a small tea ceremony in a quiet little school with a lovely little UNESCO-award winning woven textile shop.
It was an altogether vitalizing experience - a quiet walk in the woods. I highly recommend it.

An absolute gem of an experience. Edwin has developed an incredible walking tour that has connected us with such rich Andean history and tradition. This activity will take your visit to Cusco to a level other travel agencies cannot offer.
