Ontdek twee van de meest iconische landschappen van São Miguel op één onvergetelijke dag. In de ochtend verken je de adembenemende krater Sete Cidades en stop je bij spectaculaire uitzichtpunten zoals Pico do Carvão, Grota do Inferno en Vista do Rei, waar een prachtig uitzicht de beroemde tweelingmeren onthult. Uitzicht over het Lagoa das Sete Cidades, waar u het Groene Meer kunt onderscheiden van het Blauwe Meer en de brug die hen scheidt. Vanuit dit gezichtspunt kunt u ook het verlaten Monte Palace Hotel zien, dat opvalt door zijn grootte en kenmerkende aanwezigheid in het landschap.
Neem deze tijd om te ontspannen aan de oevers van Lagoa das Sete Cidades en de omgeving te verkennen.
Ontdek het proces van het kweken van ananassen, een vrucht die typisch is voor het eiland São Miguel. Je kunt ook producten proeven die van deze ananassen zijn gemaakt.

The fogo lake was one of my main reasons for visiting the island. I didn’t want to rent a vehicle to go up the mountain as I think these places are used much more with the presence of a guide and it was. I was amazed at the walk and the information received. I did not know of the existence of a subspecies of simple regulus, "estrelinha de poupa" which we could observe on the way to the lagoa. Thank you!!

We booked this tour not really knowing what to expect, and it ended up being one of the highlights of our time in São Miguel. The island is beautiful everywhere, but seeing Sete Cidades and Lagoa do Fogo in the same day was something really special. What made the difference for us was the guide. She was fantastic – warm, easygoing, and you could tell she genuinely loves the island. It didn’t feel like a scripted tour at all, more like spending the day with someone local who wanted to show us her favorite places. We learned so much about the Azores, the culture, and little details we would never have noticed on our own. The views were unreal, especially at Sete Cidades. Photos don’t do it justice. Lagoa do Fogo was completely different but just as impressive, peaceful and wild. The pace of the day was perfect – enough time at each stop without feeling rushed. Pick-up was smooth, the van was comfortable, and the group size was just right. Honestly, if you only have a short time on the island, this tour is the best way to see the must-see spots with someone who really knows what they’re talking about. Would 100% do it again and recommend it to friends.
