Vanaf Centraal Station lopen we door het Damrak en het historische centrum van Amsterdam, waarbij we de Gouden Eeuw, de Roode Jordaan, de koloniale geschiedenis en het verhaal van Anne Frank verkennen. Details over waarom deze plek zo belangrijk is en was. Je gids geeft een overzicht van waarom deze stad is zoals ze is. Natuurlijk wat leuke lokale tips. Het belangrijkste is dat de eerste geregistreerde tapper, Vrerick Geritssen, bier 1606 gaat verkopen!
Dit is een van de oudste bewoonde delen van de stad. Je gids zal beschrijven hoe het leven toen was, hoe leuk het was en wat voor spullen ze uit dit gebied hebben opgegraven.
We zullen delen wat elke eeuw heeft bijgedragen en welke veranderingen op deze locatie zijn doorgevoerd. Beschrijf natuurlijk ook alle andere hedendaagse gebeurtenissen die hier plaatsvinden. Oh ja, er zijn ook coole gebouwen!

Jack was an extremely engaging and fun guide. This was a nice change from some more scripted tours we’ve taken in other cities. He set a good pace, but took time to go into more detail when something caught our interest. Well worth the time and money for an introduction to Amsterdam. Highly recommended!

Our guide Jack was super engaging and highly knowledgeable, but not overbearing or nothing, and flexible enough to be able to veer off script whenever we asked him about something unrelated. Pretty much felt like exploring the city with a buddy who's a local to the area. Learned a lot and even got some sweet recs for later!

Love These Tours and Amsterdam didn't disappoint! The tours are highly relevant and include much more than a standard free walking tour. The guides are well versed in the traditional stories of the city but also clearly know and understand the deeper layers of the culture. We learnt so much about the unfolding of this country and it's liberism and multicultural and multilayered social systems. Fascinating to hear how the country was literally reclaimed from the sea and how and more importantly - WHO - built Amsterdam and the country. Lots of depth to the delivery on sensitive topics that need to be discussed if we are going to make changes in our world. Thanks so much Rude Bastards. A truely fantastic experience! The guide is able to create a funny atmosphere, explaining historical fact with a very hilarious jokes. I will take parte to the tour also in the other city I will visit soon!
