Ruïnepub-wandeltocht met een lokale gastvrouw in Boedapest

Een perfecte manier om meer te leren over de geschiedenis van Boedapest, vooral de Joodse/Partijwijk, een algemeen inzicht te krijgen in de stad terwijl je socialiseert met andere reizigers en onderweg een paar drankjes krijgt geserveerd! Kom met mij mee voor een avondje uit in Boedapest. :) Een werkelijk fantastische combinatie van geschiedenis en bier (en een verrassingsshot)! De drie/vier plekken die we gaan bezoeken zijn heel uniek en ik zal je nog veel meer tips geven voor plekken om daarna uit te checken voor zowel eten als drinken. De laatste stop is spectaculair en je zou er de hele nacht kunnen doorbrengen. Geweldig avontuur voor groepen, net zo goed als voor individuele reizigers.

We ontmoeten elkaar een paar minuten voor aanvangstijd voor de TERMINAL CLUB. Ik zal mezelf en de groep aan elkaar voorstellen en de timing van de tour uitleggen. Ik zal uitleg geven over de indeling van het stadscentrum en het grotere Boedapest, waarbij ik de winkel- en eetgelegenheden en clubs voor de groep aanwijs. Na een paar stappen richting de aanblik van de basiliek zal ik kort de geschiedenis van het gebouw uitleggen en het verbinden met de Hongaarse geschiedenis en taal. Ik zal ook zeer interessante feiten over de Hongaarse taal onthullen.
Op deze plek zal ik uitleg geven over het openbaar vervoerssysteem, de wijken, de indeling van het feestdistrict en ik zal wijzen op het ophaal- en afzetpunt van de Airport Bus.
Bij deze stop zal ik het hebben over het Oostenrijks-Hongaarse rijk en het koninklijk paar, en zal ik je ook kennis laten maken met de schoorsteentaart
Bij deze stop zal ik ingaan op details over de Joodse wijk, vooral met de nadruk op het tijdperk van de 2e Wereldoorlog.
Bij deze halte zal ik enkele fascinerende details over de synagoge met u delen
We zullen onze eerste stop houden in een van de retro-bars in deze straat, waar ik je het eerste inbegrepen bier zal serveren en de groep de kans krijgt om met elkaar te socialiseren. Ik zal ook kort praten over de Hongaarse communistische tijden.
We lopen over de kleine ringweg en stoppen hier even, zodat ik enkele fascinerende details van de gebouwen die hier staan met je kan delen en ik zal ook kort iets zeggen over de straatkunst.
Dit wordt onze 2e pubstop waar we meer tijd zullen besteden aan open discussies, terwijl u de gelegenheid krijgt om een Hongaars nationaal shot en een speciaalbier te proeven. Ik zal het hebben over het fascinerende verhaal van deze Hongaarse geest en ook in details over de geboorte en de redenen achter de Ruin Pub-scene in Boedapest.
Dit zal onze laatste stop zijn. Ik zal je door het hele gebouw leiden dat op de lijst staat van de beroemdste Ruïne Pub in de wijk. Je zult de hele plaats erg interessant vinden en ik kan je verzekeren dat je nog nooit zoiets als dit hebt gezien. Ik wijs je de verschillende kamers aan met verschillende thema's en zorg als afsluiting voor een verrassingsactiviteit.

Eszter was amazing! She guided us through some very interesting history of Budapest and the origin of the ruin bars. We had wonderful conversation and some tasty beer as we experienced several bars. Highly recommend this tour!! Thank you, Eszter!
Eszter was a really great host and was fun to hang out with. We had a great time learning about the district and its history, as well as of course visiting some interesting and unique pubs. Would highly recommend.
Wow, what a personal tour. My wife was tired when we got there but the guide brought her to life. Ester was very interested in our lives and experiences. Hopefully she gets a chance to go to Liberland and can send me her review of the new sovereign country.

My buddy and I had a fantastic trip with Eszter! We had just arrived in Budapest and were looking forward to a bit of history and culture in between all of our Oktoberfest shenanigans in Munich the days prior. Eszter was super personable and funny, creating a great laid back social environment for all of us. She even let me have a beer after I butchered the pronunciation of a particular building that she had us all try to pronounce in Hungarian! The beer stops were great and perfect for learning a bit and for getting to know the rest of our group (who were awesome!) Her knowledge of the city and its history was phenomenal and we would both highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a laid back evening in Budapest! Thanks Eszter!

Excellent, must do. The balance between practical knowledge of Budapest, the history of this amazing city, and a detailed overview of the pub and ruin bar “districts” (as well as the bars we went to) was perfect. The drinks were great, and the tour and conversation was outstanding.

What an amazing tour and a wonderful way to start our long weekend in Budapest. Eszter was welcoming, fun, knowledgable and a perfect host for the evening!! The history and few places we saw were fascinating and the three pubs we stopped at were full of character, great atmosphere and of course lovely beer!!! Was also really nice to get to meet the others on the tour from all round the world and Eszter did a great job getting everyone talking and feeling comfortable which made it such a good experience. Fantastic tour, fantastic host and a lovely way to start out time in Budapest!!
