My wife and I booked our outing with Lapin Taivas because of heavy cloud coverage at our resort and man I’m glad we did. Rasa and the team at Lapin were prepared and ready to make sure we had the best possible chance to see the northern lights and they really came through. I think they were more excited about it than I was. They love what they do and it shows. If you’re here for the lights and the forecast isn’t looking good, let them help you get where you need to be.
What a wonderfull experience with our guide Fatih. He took himself fotos of us which we got already the day after. Fstih was verry helpful for the setiing of my Nikon Z8 camera, this allowed me to take over 300 photos of the northern lights. At the end of our photoshooting we could observe e real explosion jsut above our heads. This was really surprising and unforgettable. Big thanks to our guide.
We took part in the Aurora hunting tour with our guide Fatih on February 11, 2026. The experience was phenomenal, we saw a lot of Northern Lights and at the end of our observation we were able to photograph a real explosion of Northern Lights right above us. Our guide Fatih was great and his experience helped us a lot in setting up our Nikon Z8. Already the next day we received photos of Fatih by mail. We were picked up at the hotel at 5pm and were back there at 2am. Everything perfect!

What a night! Our guide Emin did his best to make sure we had the most memorable experience possible, and it paid off !! We only had the one night to catch the aurora and he was able to hunt it down for us not too far from rovaniemi ! Was a lovely experience with treats as well :)
