Ervaar ijsvissen in Lapland op een privémeer, weg van drukke toeristische gebieden, in een kleine groep die is ontworpen om rustig en authentiek te zijn. Arctic GM wordt geëxploiteerd door The Original Aurora Hunters® en is een familiebedrijf met wortels in Lapland dat teruggaat tot de jaren 1600. Het combineert lokale kennis met een focus op natuurervaringen. Na het ophalen reist u naar een afgelegen locatie aan het meer. Je Gids zal traditionele ijsvistechnieken introduceren, waaronder hoe je een gat in het ijs boort en de uitrusting gebruikt. De ervaring is ontspannen en geschikt voor beginners, met tijd om te genieten van de rustige omgeving en deel te nemen in uw eigen tempo. Tijdens de tour verzamelt u zich rond het vuur om op te warmen met warme dranken en te genieten van een traditionele Laplandse barbecue.

Begin uw ervaring met ophalen in Rovaniemi en transfer naar een privélocatie aan het meer buiten de stad, weg van drukke toeristische gebieden. Bij aankomst zal uw Gids de basisprincipes van het ijsvissen introduceren, waaronder hoe u een gat in het ijs boort en de visuitrusting gebruikt. Er is geen voorafgaande ervaring vereist. Vervolgens ga je ijsvissen op het bevroren meer, onder begeleiding van je instructeur. De activiteit is ontspannen, met tijd om te vissen, te genieten van de omgeving en foto's te maken. De ervaring vindt plaats in een rustige natuurlijke omgeving, met uitzicht over het bevroren meer en het omliggende bos. Tijdens de tour verzamelt u zich rond een vuur om op te warmen met warme dranken en te genieten van een traditionele Laplandse barbecue. Na de ervaring, transfer terug naar Rovaniemi. De totale duur is ongeveer 3-4 uur.

Om een vlotte reis te garanderen, verzoeken wij u vriendelijk om 10 minuten vóór de geplande ophaaltijd in de lobby aanwezig te zijn. Onze vriendelijke gids wacht tot 15 minuten na de geplande ophaaltijd voordat hij vertrekt. Bedankt voor je medewerking!

Everything was absolutely stunning, the guide, location, experience, even though we were not lucky enough to catch some fish, but luckily we had some great BBQ and hot chocolate. Thanks again for a great day.
We had the most amazing time ice fishing and enjoying a BBQ, all thanks to our fantastic tour guide, Romain. From start to finish, he was friendly, knowledgeable, and made everyone feel completely at ease—even if it was our first time on the ice! Romain explained everything clearly, kept it fun, and made sure we were warm, safe, and well looked after. The ice fishing itself was such a unique experience, and the BBQ afterwards was the perfect touch & hot drinks, and great conversation in a truly stunning setting. If you’re thinking about ice fishing in Finland, do it and hope you get Romain as your guide. An unforgettable experience we’ll be talking about for years! ❄️🎣🔥

Amazing time, didn’t catch any fish but the tour guide definitely made it an amazing time. The ice was so thick and Pedro persisted to ensure that we had the chance to fish!

We joined a tour near a lake and tried ice fishing with our family. The whole experience was really good. We had a nice fire, grilled sausages, and enjoyed great conversation. The kids had so much fun throwing snowballs and playing in the snow. Ice fishing itself was very interesting — truly a once-in-a-lifetime thing. You drill a hole in the ice, sit in the cold, and wait. We waited about 30 minutes, hoping to catch a fish. Sadly, we didn’t catch any, but it was still an amazing experience. It became a family memory we will never forget. Thank you, Arctic GM, for organizing such a great tour!
We had a great time out ice fishing with Artic GM when we went! We were the first ice fishing tour this season as we went pretty early in December, but the ice was nice and safe when we went. We really loved our guide, Adam! We was a great guide and was very knowledgeable about fishing. It was also only myself and my wife so we basically had a private tour! We caught 6 fish between the three of us, so we had a pretty great day of fishing! Highly recommend this and can't recommend Adam more as a guide! In the future it would be a lot of fun if Arctic GM set up some more guided fishing experiences that were longer and more geared towards the serious angler!
