Check in en ga aan boord van uw schip om naar Rottnest Island te reizen.
Aankomst op het eiland en heb vrije tijd totdat uw tour begint.
Ontmoet uw gids hier om uw Grand Island Tour te beginnen. Stap aan boord van de erfgoedtrein voor een ritje naar Oliver Hill en een rondleiding bij Oliver Hill WWII Guns & Tunnel, gevolgd door een lichte broodjeslunch.
Een begeleide bustour over het eiland begint vanaf Oliver Hill. Uw chauffeur zal ook optreden als gids en u wijzen op bezienswaardigheden terwijl u over het eiland toert.
Maak kennis met uw retourveerboot om terug te keren naar Fremantle. Vertrek om 16.00 uur op Rottnest Island en stap rond 16.30 uur uit Fremantle.

This was an odd tour. Dumped off the early ferry for almost 2 hours of “ free time” when there was honestly not much to see. Once the tour proper started, the train ride was pleasant, but way too much time at the Oliver Hill site. Then we had to scoff our Lunch in the bus before the after lunch stops, which were very rushed. Disgorged back at the settlement when the Quokkas were out, but very little time to spend the. As we had to rush to tech the ferry. The timing of this tour needs a major rethink.

We will pass your feedback onto the actual tour oeprator but it sounds like the Bayseeker Tour, which is the tour of the island with commentary, might have suited you better. Smooth from check in at the port to leaving the island. The tours were so well organised, the light lunch was fresh and tasty and the bus driver/guide Trevor was amazing! He spent so much time getting to know about everyone. He had a fantastic sense of humour and made the Journey entertaining. We had the best day, there was nothing I could fault about it!!

A lovely day experience. Only saw four quokkas all day so a little disappointed. Beautiful place and riding a bicycle was not easy as a lot of uphill and the island is lager than can be done in a day. Worth a visit but check magic quakka experiences at the mainland.
Thanks for your feedback. That's a shame that you only saw a few quokkas, normally you see quite a few more, especially around the main settlement area. They must have been hiding on the day that you visited. Sounds like you overall enjoyed your day on the island though!
The. journey to Rottnest was very enjoyable on the ferry. The Grand tour that took us. around the. island was very good, guide was excellent and we had enough time at each stop. The. only negative to the. trip that I felt could have been improved was the. bus audio system , we sat towards the back of the bus and the audio was very faint at times.

This was a well planned trip which went to the key areas on the island. It combined in one ticket the gun tower, the train and a tour of the island. There was a lunch provided (GF option available) of a wrap and a drink. Leigh was an excellent tour guide who was informative and personable. If you want to see all of the island then this is a combined ticket that enables you to do this. Quokkas easily visible from the settlement as soon as you get away from the jetty.

Good tour, informative, bus trip went too long and was a bit repetitive. Would have preferred more time at the lighthouse. No time for exploring or climbing it.

Choppy trip over but then a lovely done day. Saw lots of quokkas and really enjoyed the guns.. The lunch was pretty ordinary.

We visited the ticket booth the day before we traveled so we could get our tickets printed in advance and we knew where we were going. This proved very beneficial as it was very busy on arrival. The ferry was on time giving us 90 minutes to explore before the train ride. The tour of tunnels was interesting and well presented as was the island bus tour. The chicken salad wrap which passed as lunch was average at best but other than that we had an excellent day.

What a great tour!! Guide was amazing and I walked away feeling like I saw the entire island. It is the perfect tour for first timers to Rottnest- a perfect overview of the history and high points of beautiful Rottnest. Highly recommend!
