Je hebt tijd om rond te lopen op de meest emblematische plek van Tenerife: Nationaal park van de berg Teide op een hoogte: 2350 meter boven zeeniveau.
We stoppen om foto's te maken bij het beroemde Los Roques de Garcia (dat vroeger op het biljet van 1000 peseta stond) en bewonderen het uitzicht op de berg Teide en de omgeving.
Beroemd Masca-dorp - de piraten van Tenerife. Meest geïsoleerde dorp van Tenerife. Prachtig landschap.
De stad Garachico is de enige plaats op de Canarische eilanden die is verwoest door vulkanische lava.
In deze stad zie je de beroemdste boom op de Canarische eilanden. El Drago Milenario. Ook is deze plek beroemd om zijn wijnen.

Ophaallocaties en -tijden
We halen alle reizigers op uit Puerto de la Cruz. BELANGRIJK: je wordt opgehaald bij de toegewezen bushalte, niet bij de receptie van het hotel. De locatiegegevens worden u samen met een excursieticket toegestuurd. Indien uw hotel/appartement hier niet vermeld staat, dient u dit handmatig in te voeren. Als u in een ander gebied verblijft, kunt u ook reserveren, maar dan moet u zelf naar het dichtstbijzijnde ophaalpunt rijden. De ophaalservice begint om 08:00 uur - verschillend voor elk hotel. De excursie begint rond 8.40 uur.

Tenerife was new to us and whilst we had the luxury of a half board hotel we wanted to explore! I’ve used Viator so many times on my different holidays and this one did not disappoint. The hill climbs and descend in the coach was hair raising but the tour was fabulous and we learnt so much from our tour guide Maria! A fantastic day!
Tour operator didn’t show up at the pickup point and no explanation nor apology. Still awaiting refund. Better to book with a local tour operator
Excellent tour; safe, experienced courteous driver; friendly, attentive, knowledgeable guide. Well constructed tour with several appropriate stops and refreshments.
Multiple stops lots of photo opportunities. The courier very informative and spoke in Multiple languages. She was actually a local and you could tell she loved showing off her island.Some of the mountain roads were quite perilous as we climbed high on very windy narrow roads.Some points looking over the edge and only seeing sheer drops of a 1000 feet.The driver was excellent and got applause and clapping from all guests on the bus.The final stop was for lunch and was a lovely restaurant in the middle of nowhere. Foods,especially the steak and baked chicken were lovely. The trip lasted about 8 hours and was easily worth the cost.
Very nice walk despite a sullen weather at the start. Good guide and experienced driver. It was necessary to manage traffic jams around Masca. Tenerife is beautiful, but comes to saturation with its 7 million annual tourists.
Excellent introductory tour around NorthWest Tenerife and the amazing Teide national park. Ivan was an engaging and informative guide, with impressive multi-lingual skills. Very much recommended.

Great day trip to Icod Del Vinos, Garachico, Masca & Mt. Teide national park. Our guide Ivan was fantastic and we felt very safe with our driver, especially on the tricky hairpin bends around Masca! The only issue was that my partner was extremely ill a few hours after eating the ranch stew at the restaurant we stopped at for lunch. I had something completely different and was fine. Otherwise, a lovely day and well worth the price.
The trip was wonderful. Full of one of the best views of Tenerife. Seeing Teide felt a bit magical. Everything was planned out well.
Not long enough in Masca, was a rush. Stayed to long at restaurant, didn’t want a meal. I think coaches are to big for Teide mountain road. Lots of information and guide very helpful.
