Sal was a great guide! He was able to answer all questions and give so much detail about all the sites we saw. 10/10 recommend!
We had an early morning tour at 8:50am with Israel. He was friendly & greet us upon arrival. Our group needed coffee and Israel listened to us. He changed the itinerary to allow us to get coffee in the museum which we are grateful for. Then we continue our tour. Israel is knowledgeable with many details of different civilizations, symbols & religion. However, we wish we could learn more about how life, culture & evolution of the various civilizations. The tour was too heavy in technical details that they were hard to follow. Overall, we appreciate Israel passion for these details, his positive energy & flexibility with our group.
Alicia was friendly and had plenty of interesting info regarding all the artifacts we viewed during our tour.
The tour was great! She was exceptionally knowledgeable!

2.5 hours is not enough time to see whole museum. This is a good thing because our guide Alex brought the parts we saw to life, so we left his company hungry for more. We roamed for another hour or so, but truthfully having a guide is really the way to go.
Dear Mike_R, Thank you for your kind review. We are delighted to know you enjoyed the guided experience and that it inspired you to continue exploring the museum on your own. We hope to welcome you again on another cultural adventure. Greetings from the Trekzy Quality Team

My husband and I had the pleasure of taking the Museum of Anthropology tour today with Israel, and it exceeded our expectations in every way. Israel brought an incredible level of enthusiasm, passion, and knowledge to the experience. While he is not formally an anthropologist, his deep understanding of Mexican history and culture was evident throughout the tour. What made his storytelling especially engaging was the way he shared traditions, customs, and historical insights passed down through stories from his Abuela, adding a personal and authentic perspective that truly enriched the experience. We learned far more than we anticipated and left with a much greater appreciation for Mexico’s rich cultural heritage. The tour is advertised as 2½ hours, but ours ran a bit longer—which we didn’t mind at all because every additional minute was filled with fascinating information and engaging discussion. One thing future visitors should know is that this is a thorough tour that involves quite a bit of walking. I highly recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes and bringing a snack, just in case there’s an opportunity for a quick break along the way. If you’re planning to visit the Museum of Anthropology and want a guide who is knowledgeable, engaging, and genuinely passionate about sharing Mexico’s history and culture, I highly recommend Israel. This was one of the highlights of our trip, and we’re so glad we chose this tour.

Thank you Poncho ! The tour was interesting and dynamic ! I learnt a lot of things and had a really great moment. I recommend 100% ! Especially because the museum without explanation would not be as enriching.
