Deze excursie houdt de groepsgrootte beperkt om ervoor te zorgen dat u een meer persoonlijke ervaring krijgt in vergelijking met de grote groepsreizen. Deze tour is inclusief skip-the-line toegang tot de Vaticaanse musea, een geleid bezoek aan de Sixtijnse Kapel en toegang tot de Sint-Pietersbasiliek om zelf te verkennen (een bezoek is niet mogelijk wanneer directe toegang vanuit het museum is gesloten). - Een kledingvoorschrift is vereist om de erediensten en het Vaticaans museum te betreden. Geen shorts of mouwloze tops toegestaan. Knieën en schouders MOETEN bedekt zijn voor zowel mannen als vrouwen. U kunt het risico lopen de toegang geweigerd te worden als u zich niet aan deze kledingvoorschriften houdt
- Om het Vaticaanse museum binnen te komen, gebruiken we één groepsticket. De directie van het Vaticaans Museum deelt geen individuele tickets uit aan groepen. Om deze reden kunnen we geen kaartjes geven aan laatkomers of mensen die alleen toegang willen en op eigen gelegenheid het museum bezoeken.
- Kinderen moeten worden vergezeld door een volwassene
- De activiteit kan om organisatorische redenen 20/30 min variëren
- Houd er rekening mee dat capaciteitsregels en beveiliging het vertrek van de tour kunnen vertragen. Dit kan ook het soepele verloop van de tour beïnvloeden, vooral op nationale feestdagen en evenementen.
- Annuleringen, wijzigingen of problemen als gevolg van weersomstandigheden, beveiliging en evenementen in het bezit van het monument vallen buiten onze controle en worden rechtstreeks bepaald door hun administratieteam. Deze kwesties zullen door ons worden beoordeeld en op individuele basis worden behandeld, maar vallen onder de verantwoordelijkheid van het monument.
- Je moet een geldig identiteitsbewijs met foto hebben om de monumenten in te voeren (student-ID, rijbewijs, paspoort of staat-ID werken allemaal.) Je wordt gevraagd ook je naam, achternaam en geboortedatum op te geven (aan het begin van de tour, indien niet vooraf verstrekt.) Beveiliging kan verhinderen dat u de site betreedt als de verstrekte informatie niet juist is en / of niet overeenkomt met die op uw ID.
- Kinderkorting wordt alleen toegepast met een geldige identiteitskaart
- Opmerking: de tour werkt niet op religieuze feestdagen
- Vanwege oneffen oppervlakken wordt deze tour niet aanbevolen voor mensen die slecht ter been zijn of een rolstoel gebruiken.
- Alle bezoekers moeten door de veiligheidscontrole van het monument/attractie gaan. Houd er rekening mee dat er ten minste 20 minuten nodig is om de beveiliging te wissen.
- Houd er rekening mee dat grote tassen/rugzakken/koffers niet zijn toegestaan in het monument/attractie. Alleen zeer kleine tassen zijn toegestaan. Breng deze items alsjeblieft niet mee op de dag van je tour, want er zijn geen garderobes bij het monument.
- Om veiligheidsredenen worden alle bezoekers en hun bagage gescreend. Om de veiligheidscontroles te vergemakkelijken, gelieve een voorwerp (inclusief mobiele telefoon) in de tas/rugzak of in de lade te plaatsen die in de röntgenfoto moet worden opgenomen
- Geen enkele wijziging in een boeking kan worden geaccepteerd na 24 uur voor de starttijd van de tour. In dat geval vindt geen restitutie plaats.
- Voor de veiligheid van alle gasten behoudt de touroperator zich het recht voor om passagiers te weigeren die dronken zijn of tekenen van dronkenschap vertonen. Als uw reis hierdoor wordt geannuleerd, heeft u geen recht op restitutie.
- Huisdieren zijn niet toegestaan
- Elk restitutieverzoek MOET binnen en uiterlijk 48 uur vanaf de dag van de tour worden gedaan
- Niet aanbevolen voor reizigers met motorische problemen en wandelaars
- Wij informeren u vriendelijk dat elke vorm van handicap (visuele beperking, gehoorbeperking,...) of iets dat u zou kunnen verhinderen regelmatig aan de tour deel te nemen, vooraf aan ons personeel MOET worden doorgegeven

The tour company changed the meeting point and we missed some of the tour as we had to rush from the old meeting point to the new one at the last minute

Tour was overall great and worth it, but they give you the runaround at first. I’m pretty sure they gave out spot away and then realized we showed up on time, and then walked a group of us to another location to get our tickets and have us wait for another tour guide. Kind of shady at first, but overall a great trip and experience.

The most memorable part of the tour for us was the historical information provided by our guide, Sophie. She explained everything in detail, lending a richness in historical context to the magnificent scenery.

Amazing, beauty, aesthetics, history, the beautifulness of human creation, delicacy and perfection
Well what can I say, as my husband and I have a hectic work life we have decided to just have short breaks and our first one we chose Rome, not ever having been before we didn't really know where to stay, looked at lots of hotels and booked the Veneto Palace, breakfast included and the reviews were good. I will be doing a separate review on the hotel. We arrived at the airport on Saturday 18th June and decided to get the train to the local station near the hotel, as the hotel wanted £65 for the journey, this was very very easy and the train staff all speak English, the train to trimini is every 15 minutes and takes 30 mins and cost €12 each. We exited the train station and taxis are waiting outside, I always ask how much before I go anywhere, €10 to the hotel, wonderful, this journey took 7 mins, hotel staff welcomed us and showed us to our room, compact is a word I would use but clean and cosy, we decided to get some dinner and headed for reception, maps were on reception and he circled whereq the points of interest were (very handy,). I asked good old Google "restaurant near me" followed the map and found ourselves in a town centre with restaurants and shops, very nice meal and headed for supermarket, picked up milk ( no tea/coffee making facilities, so I take a travel kettle and tea bags, coffee and sugar). Slept like a log and the next day we ventured out towards the Spanish steps, we were headed off by the big bus tour man who talked us into purchasing a 3 day pass, main route, purple route and night route €98, 🥴 we decided to get on straight away, amazing sights and very well documented, saw the fountains, collaseum (amazing) headed for stop number 6 - Vatican and got off, walked across the bridge and up the main Street, WOW, what an amazing sight, WARNING do not eat there, 3 small potato crochets, 1 glass of wine and 1 small beer €33 🥺. After an hour we came away and decided to walk the 45 mins back to hotel and found amazing Street artists, shops, bars ect. Amazing day out. The flowing day we decided to go and do sbopping and saw the trevi fountain, absolutely a sight to see, Spanish steps were lots of steps lol. Everything is within 45 min walk , just get the 1 day bus hopper as it doesn't take you next to all the sights you have to walk. The clothes are cheaper than the food lol, we took £700 for 4 nights and still put £300 on the card - this was 80% food, very expensive , €65 just for 2 pizzas and 2 drinks. Would I go again - YES I WOULD.
