Geniet tijdens de hele reis van geweldige en unieke bezienswaardigheden. Het begin van uw reis voert u langs de gekste wegen langs de valleien tot we aankomen bij een klein dorpje dat een cruciale rol speelde in de geschiedenis van de Portwijn, Pinhão. Eenmaal daar, gecombineerd met de unieke schoonheid van de Douro, zult u genieten van een ontspannen boottocht. Als u op zoek bent naar grote commerciële wijnhuizen, is dit niet de tour voor jou. Wij zorgen voor een echte wijnproeverij met unieke wijnen die u niet in de winkel kunt kopen. (1e bezoek en wijnproeverij) Dit historische wijndomein dateert uit 1745 en was ooit eigendom van een machtige lokale familie. Het verwelkomt u in zijn eeuwenoude residentie, bewaard gebleven met originele meubels, waar u kunt genieten van een traditionele lunch in combinatie met wijnen uit zijn eigen wijngaarden. (2e bezoek, wijnproeverij en lunch) Wij verbinden u met de unieke en passievolle personen die hun hart geven aan dit monumentale landschap, een gecombineerd werk van mens en natuur.

Zodra u Porto City verlaat, heeft u een rit van 1 uur en 30 minuten, maar maakt u zich geen zorgen. Zoals je zult zien, zul je op een bepaald punt tijdens de reis gefascineerd raken door het prachtige uitzicht over de valleien totdat je aankomt in dit kleine maar geweldige dorp. Daar kunt u genieten van een boottocht van 45 minuten voor een ontspannend moment.

The Vintage House Theory was vroeger eigendom van een machtige familie uit de regio en nodigt u uit om zijn eeuwenoude residentie uit 1735 te betreden, compleet met alle originele meubels die u graag een traditionele lunch aanbieden gecombineerd met vijf verschillende nectars uit eigen productie.

We scheduled a private wine tasting tour with Inbic tours. Nuno and his business partner, Jorge, could not have been more accommodating. They knew we needed to make a flight at 7pm and designed a tour that dropped us off with plenty of time to spare. Jorge was extremely knowledgeable about the history of the Douro Valley - he is also a sommelier, so he gave us the best insight to all our wine questions. We had a wine tasting at Quinta do Loderio and had a lovely lunch - outside - at another amazing vineyard. The views were amazing! There are no words to describe the amazing experience that we’ll remember for a lifetime!
We had an amazing day with Inbic and Jorge. We booked a private tour for two couples and visited three wineries with one including lunch. From the start and throughout the process, Inbic was extremely responsive and took care of all the reservations for us, with the exception of lunch, which understandably required a deposit. We were delighted to have Jorge as our driver who has studied wines and was extremely knowledgeable about the region and the wines. Overall an exceptional day and I’d highly recommend Inbic for any tours or transfers you are thinking of.
Jorge was our excellent driver/guide on our private full day visit to the Douro valley. He is very knowledgeable about Portugal and the Douro area, history and wine. He is happy to answer questions and he’s very passionate about Portugal. We had a boat ride on the river for an hour, visited view points for photos, 2 wineries and had lunch at one. Free generous tastings of local wines and port. Comfortable, clean car. Enjoyable day, highly recommend
We were fortunate to be the only couple on this tour and we enjoyed a private, first class experience with Jorge. He was an incredible host and so knowledgeable about Portuguese wine and the Douro Valley. Jorge was a wonderful guide, very informative and knowledgeable about the region. His van was clean, modern and comfortable. The different stops (short Douro river cruise, vineyard and lunch ) were well thought out and pleasant. We would have no reservations in recommending his day tour to you!
This was by far one of the best experiences during our stay in Portugal. If you are considering a Duro Valley tour, we highly recommend that you book with Inbic Tours. Their tours are small group which make them more personal. Our tour guide, Jorge was personable, friendly and knowledgeable. He treated us like family. We started the day with a very enjoyable river cruise in Pinhao, while sipping delicious red, white and muscatel wine. Our host for the river cruise was David. I couldn't say enough how kind and friendly he was. Next we visited a small producer vineyard, Dois Lugares. The owner, Bruno, gave us a tour of the vineyard and explained his family tradition of wine making. We tasted 5 of his wines as well as some really excellent olive oil that they also produce. It was heart warming to hear his story and to experience his hospitality. Our next stop was at another family owned vineyard, Vintage Theory Douro, that specializes in port wines. We had a delicious 3 course lunch accompanied by a generous amount of delicious red and white wines and including tasting of 3 port wines: 10, 20 and 30 years. The staff was so friendly and kind and explained the port making process and tradition. Overall a real authentic and enjoyable experience we will remember for a long time.
