Carolina was a great host taking our party of 4 through the 6 different wines with good humour and plenty of interesting facts,figures and history and an explanation of how the different wines were categorised across the islands. The tastings were so good we immediately purchased 20 bottles across the range and i can confirm that they tasted even better when we opened them at home.

An extensive private tour with enthusiastic and knowledgeable explanation of Carolina Ramos Barroso throughout the bodega because at 10 am I happened to be the only guest for this time slot and then a nice tasting of 7 delicious wines of Vinatigo including an orange wine and a Listan Blanco VP. In these wines you can well notice the volcanic origin.

The tasting was very good and the service was attentive, but we were missing a bit of cheese to accompany it, something small to nibble on. Everything else was great

Excellent tour with Carolina. Insightful guide and wonderful to learn about wine making in Tenerife. The winery has an excellent commitment to sustainability, as well as recognising the heritage of wine making in the Canary Islands. The wine is also excellent! Highly recommend a visit.

A highly recommended experience. The winery is beautiful, its design (its cleanliness stands out), the estates very well maintained and what to say about its wines. The very well guided and explained tour by Carolina (super didactic).

We visited Bodegas Viñátigo for the 12pm tour and tasting and had a really lovely afternoon. We arrived around 10 minutes early and initially weren’t quite sure where to go, so the start felt a little uninviting. We were also waiting for another group who arrived late, but once everything began the experience completely changed. Carolina was absolutely lovely – warm, knowledgeable and explained everything clearly in English. She made the tour engaging and easy to follow, even for those of us who are not wine experts. The winery itself is fascinating, with a real focus on local grape varieties and Tenerife’s volcanic soil. The tasting of six wines was excellent – a great variety and very generous measures! The wines were delicious and it was interesting to learn about the unique Canarian grapes. Overall, a really enjoyable experience and well worth doing if you’re visiting Tenerife. A big thank you to Carolina for making it special.
