We loved the tour with Kevin. Very kind and very educational. We learned a lot of things and were able to see the famous quetzal!
We went in June 2025 with Kevin on a birding tour of the Curi-Cancha reserve, and had a great time. He geared the trip to my pre-teen daughter’s stamina, and had binoculars available to loan her. His excitement about introducing us to new birds and animals was infectious, and we both learned a ton. My daughter had so much fun that she has since joined me on numerous birding adventures! Book with Kevin, and spark a love of birding for your family too!
We had Kevin as our tour guide and he was absolutely amazing. I had a list of the top birds I wanted to see and he made sure that we saw every single one!! The top bird on my list was the resplendent Quetzal, which he found for us in the first 10 minutes. I booked with Kevin because I saw others reviews with statements like “Kevin is one with the birds” and “bird whisperer” which were all 100% the truth. We could not have asked for a better guide!

We got a guided tour with Kevin and it was just the two of us with the guide. We got to see everything we wanted and Kevin really took the time to make sure we saw the birds we wanted to see. It was a great time! We got you see the quetzal and also a toucan.

Kevin was a fantastic guide. He went out of his way to find the birds we were interested in. We saw spider monkeys, bell birds, many types of hummingbirds and more.

We had a fantastic trip through Curi-Cancha with Kevin today. He tailored the tour perfectly to suit the interests of the 4 of us. He was very impressive in locating birds of particular interest to us all, finding a quetzal, bell bird and several toucans. With his help we were able to take fabulous photos too. Kevin made the tour an amazing experience! He knew where to look and found so much wildlife we hoped to see! He took photos for us and shared them. At one point he sprinted down a hill just so we wouldn’t miss anything. Very impressed.
Kevin was our guide and he was excellent. Very good English, passionate and knowledgeable about the environment and the animals we were seeing. He asked us our target species at the start of the tour and set about trying to tick them all off. He had a telescope and was good at getting pictures through it and also had a couple of sets of binoculars for our group to use. I would highly recommend this tour.
